  1. Sweet! Where is the version for Thunder Erebus? (Yes yes I know, there is no president for a black God Bomber for Nucleon Quest Super Convoy but I still want one!)
  2. So I got my Quietus today. I don't think I can add much to Mikes thorough review but there are a few things I noticed. First transformation is not that difficult. I watched two transformation videos before and was able to do it without any major blocking points. What is disappointing is that it doesn't fit together well. The cockpit not connecting properly was already discussed in great detail so all I can say is that mine is that way too. What wasn't discussed as much is that the nosecone in space fighter mode is not solid at all. There are way too many plates on hinges that fold over an empty cavity without locking securely in place which makes it frustrating to handle. While he is not that difficult to transform I would advise against it. The knee caps scratched the underside of the die-cast chest plate and I don't see how I could have avoided it other than applying masking take to the edge of it. Sculpt and presence is top notch though especially in robot-mode. Articulation is good and I recommend FansToys for incorporating a waist swivel. Other companies (I'm looking at you MP Magnus) would have probably opted to skip it which is odd since FTs Rouge doesn't have one so maybe the two toys have two different designers). The flaps on his crotch armor are odd since I don't believe they can actually swing outwards to allow for more range of motion. Same goes for the crotch armor not having a stopping point. The Target Master is your standard fair which to me is a downer since the design/engineering of Target Masters (and Head Masters) hasn't evolved since the mid 80s. To sum it up I recommend it. Looks great with FTs Sovereign and I hope they do a Scourge soon. The transformation is not that bad but it could have had a few more rounds of refinement so everything fits together better. Note to self: I need to find good Decepticon decals for my 3rd party robots.
  3. The lower abdomen looks so much petter compared to the MP one. where did the front bumper go?Does it have a removable chest or is it fully transformable?
  4. So ZenMarket rejected my request to participate in the lottery for me. I gave FromJapan a second try because I figured out that I used the wrong URL on my first try. I payed for the order so I guess in the next few days I know if they will do lottery items. This is the URL I used: https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000129902/ If FromJapan falls through I hope that the prices go down once the lottery items are out in the market.
  5. I enjoyed your review quite a bit Kuma Style. I'm excited for mine but what I'm even more excited is their Star Saber. I cannot wait to get him after the first two came out that nicely. The one criticism I have is that he should have come with additional fixed posed hands. Those ball-joints popping out is an annoyance and a point of potential breakage. Given the price of the figure and how many hands came with their Drift I feel that they are sorely missing with Tarn. Minor nitpick. For my likings the thighs are too bulbous and the lower legs too scrawny. With a chest and shoulders like that he really shouldn't have skipped leg day. :P However that might change once I have him in hand. After seeing the review I feel that MMCs Kultur is a better toy but Flame Toys Tarn is the better display piece which was my assessment for Drift/Stray as well. Thanks for all the effort going into as much detail as you did.
  6. I love everything about the War for Cybertron but I despise the weathering job. I much rather have more regular paint apps, higher parts count or more intricate engineering (like cleaning up the forearms a bit better on Prime). None of my other Transformers toys has weathering, why these? That said it seems like the Studio Series is a big success for Hasbro because to me this Siege line seems to be the counterpart to the Studio Series for the "Classics" collector. Sad to see that Takara isn't putting out their own mainline any longer because I'm sure theirs wouldn't come with a weathering job. Oh well, can't wait for Shockwave and Skywarp from this line. Hopefully the weathering is easy to remove.
  7. Mine is also on the way and I should have him next week. Besides the issue with the cockpit area not sitting flush I think there was nothing negative mentioned. From the videos I‘ve seen so far he seems to be one of the better engineered ones. No parts flexing like Koot or Willys and no utter mess like Rouge. I think if you can deal with the transformation on Apache you should be fine. However like most of these super accurate Transformers I think he is not a toy you can flip through the modes for fun but then none of the 3rd party Cyclonuses is dun to handle.
  8. I'm curious what FansToys does with their Silverbolt. Their renders (which pixeled the underside of the Concorde) show that they did something with the engine nacelles and maybe they did something with the forward fuselage with all the joints in there. It will probably just collapse into itself though. However it looks much better than all the other Silverbolts we've seen. TFCs one comes into mind where you could separate the bot from the plane and display them simultaneously.
  9. No worries, I‘ll wait for the full review then.
  10. Thanks for the info about the mask. Has he similar engineered knees like Drift with multiple moving pieces?
  11. Well I think after the disappointment of the performance of the TLK movie they decided to put the visual aesthetic of the live action transformers into a different direction. By that time HasTak was probably close to finish the design on MPM Bumblebee. It probably would cost them far too much to incorporate these changes as well as delay the production and distribution of the toy which was probably already slotted for production in their factories so it didn't make sense for them to halt production. You could see this with the toys from the first Bay movie where HasTak hadn't a good idea of what these would look on screen (I think the designer said that in one of the recent interviews translated by TFW) thus the toys where fairly inaccurate to the movie. Only with the next few movies they got a better grasp of what these looked like and the designs where more faithful (RotF leader Optimus, the Human Alliance line, etc).
  12. I‘m super excited about Tarn. I‘m a bit confused what the difference is between the regular mask and the one added to the D4Toys orders.
  13. I know I'm late to the party but I tried to place an order for the Soul Blue Strike Freedom lottery with FromJapan and ZenMarket. FromJapan flat out said that they can't order that item. While I could add it with ZenMarket I wonder if they can actually place me in the lottery. Has anyone had experience with ordering lottery items through ZenMarket? So a few questions come to mind. I know that the lottery is still open but I wonder if ZenMarket already reached their order limit for the lottery tickets. Any news on that? Secondly, if I don't win or they can't put my hat in the ring, are there any service fees for transferring my ZenMarket funds back to PayPal?
  14. Uuuh, I‘d love to get Super Parts for my green VF-27 beta.
  15. I wish they would to an hand option set for the Delta Squadron where the index finger is bent on the articulated hands and that can hold the gun pods properly.
  16. Hm ok, I will keep that in mind. It is so nice that GSC gives you additional wrist joints with their Figma releases.
  17. Is there a way to buy additional wrist joints for human S.H.Figuarts? A quick search unearthed a bunch of Revoltech joints but none for SHF figures.
  18. If you live close to a physical LEGO Store and it is a common part (in a common color) you are missing you might be lucky and get it straight from the store. I had this once where I just walked into the Store and they had exactly the piece I had lost. If the store is not really close it is probably better to go through the replacement service.
  19. Got my MB Destiny Heine Custom last week and although I'm not a fan of the color orange something about this figure works for me. It is quite stunning. The mold is still good but I think the legs could be a bit more bulky/stylized/proportionated. They are pretty straight compared to the rest of the figure. So I guess I need to get a variant of the MB Strike Freedom to balance out the shelfs.
  20. I hope for a MB Justice Gundam but it will probably be the EVA-00 unit. Is it sill possible to get into the lottery for the MB Strike Freedom and if so how do I do it?
  21. Scyla

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Got mine from HLJ today and sure enough it has a broken head laser. At first I thought the tip was missing since it was nowhere to be found. Luckily it hid inside the Valkyrie. I‘ve asked HLJ if they can do anything about it but I guess I have to glue it back on. I‘m debating if I should pin the part also just to make it more secure.
