    Quick question. I need to move my UCS Millenium Falcon soon. Has someone figured out a good way to disassemble it into smaller more transportable pieces without taking it apart completely? Some people swear by Saran wrapping the set and than secure it with bubble wrap to secure it but I would rather partially disassemble it since it is really big.

    If I had to choose I would always go for decent pose-able hands only over not working hands that I need to switch out for transformation (looking at you VF-31).

    I have a question. There has been a big kerfuffle about posting pictures of this figure over at TFW. Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between this sculpt and the one from MP Black Arachnia.

    Looking at the arms in combined mode it seems like they are comprised of one half arm bot and one half parts forming piece. Guess the combined mode will have next to none tarnsforming pieces.

    Oh, I also wished it would come with more Rebel Troopers. Two additional would have been enough for me. After I finished the Tantive IV I will probably build the Saturn V. 5 after 4 seems fitting.

    I'm building the Lego Tantive IV at the moment. Having built two UCS models (Slave 1 and the Falcon) I think they planned it as an UCS set. The instructions even include an interview with all the designers. I guess the idea was to use the new cockpit pieces of the UCS Falcon as the bridge section of the vessel and build the best possible Blockade Runner possible. Someway down the line they probably though that it is not enough for an UCS set. And I agree with their decision. The bridge section looks quite nice I just wish they would print the large panels. It is a shame that an iconic section of the ship looks like nothing without stickers (some would agree that the engine section is more iconic but I digress). Especially for the high price to part ratio of the Star Wars sets I think there was enough room to print the pieces. The Falcon cockpit piece is nicely printed! But I guess this is a reoccurring discussion with the SW sets since I remember there where some negative comments about the Slave 1 and X-Wing cockpit piece. Another thing I'm not too thrilled about is the white color. Comparing it to images of the real thing this seems to be accurate but Legos white has a yellow tinge that is unappealing to me. So I would have preferred a light, light gray.

    Is there any engineering on FTs Roadking that can be used for the combined mode? I tried to look for it in the two reviews I have watched but couldn‘t spot it. maybe the four limb bots come with some Menasor BAF parts.

    I‘m looking forward building that Tantive IV. I don‘t like that they didn‘t print the cockpit details and that it isn‘t a UCS set. On the other hand I managed to align the stickers on the escape pod pretty well and I still need to find a way to display the UCS Falcon, so the smaller size is probably a good thing.

    I just paid for my MB EVA-01 from Kapow Toys. I was skeptical if they could deliver this item since it was my first MB order through them. However it seems like they came through even if they are pretty late to the party. I don't mind waiting though, especially if it was a hassle free preorder after all import stores from Japan sold out.

    To be fair as a kid/teenager when the first Pokémon game came out for the original GameBoy I thought they looked all terrible. Some evolutions later Charmander and Squirtle where passable. Scyther and Mewtwo are the only cool ones out of the original 151

Other than that I'm very thankful for the existing of MWF. I don't do any social media stuff so I love to have a place to read up and discuss the latest geekery.     Got my MB Crossbone Gundam today. Not much to say about the figure itself. Thankfully my copy is not the QC nightmare that @Gundam@EFSF unit was. It has a few scratches on the back of the gray lower torso piece and a visible gate marks on the shield emitter bits for the forearm guards. Thankfully it is hidden once the piece is clipped in. The only thing I dislike are the unpainted eyeholes of the skull on his crest. I'm also confused why Bandai decided that the F91 (and the Gundam Astray units) needed a glossy finish. The matte one on the Crossbone presents much better. Oh and I love the robot parrot. Adorable! Now on to the cloak. I hate that the "golden" clops that hold the weights and the cloak braid are this mustardy plastic. They really stand out in a bad way. Second you need to assemble the cloak which is finicky. Hopefully the finished cloak is able to fit in the box without disassembling it since I don't want to deal with that, ever. It is a nice feeling cloth though but I fear it will fray after some handling. But is it worth it. I would say yes since the weights give it a nice heavy feel and the braid allows it to articulate it so it blows in the space winds. On the other hand I think a nylon piece to weigh it down like the cape for the Mezco The Dark Knight Returns Batman is the superior way to do it. The pieces work as additional armor plating in the context of the Gundam though I just wished the mustard clasps where painted golden. Looking forward to other color variants and a Full Cloth version.

    Apparently I got one at amiami. I only heard of successful DX Chogokin preorders from the legends on these boards.
