    If you live close to a physical LEGO Store and it is a common part (in a common color) you are missing you might be lucky and get it straight from the store. I had this once where I just walked into the Store and they had exactly the piece I had lost. If the store is not really close it is probably better to go through the replacement service.

    Got my MB Destiny Heine Custom last week and although I'm not a fan of the color orange something about this figure works for me. It is quite stunning. The mold is still good but I think the legs could be a bit more bulky/stylized/proportionated. They are pretty straight compared to the rest of the figure. So I guess I need to get a variant of the MB Strike Freedom to balance out the shelfs.

    I hope for a MB Justice Gundam but it will probably be the EVA-00 unit. Is it sill possible to get into the lottery for the MB Strike Freedom and if so how do I do it?

    Got mine from HLJ today and sure enough it has a broken head laser. At first I thought the tip was missing since it was nowhere to be found. Luckily it hid inside the Valkyrie. I‘ve asked HLJ if they can do anything about it but I guess I have to glue it back on. I‘m debating if I should pin the part also just to make it more secure.

    For me what makes a Transformer a Transformer is that you can see what vehicle it is transforming into from a look at the robot mode. Utilizing shapes that aren't suppose to parts of a humanoid body as such (like the forward fuselage of a jet as a torso). As a kid I always looked at some of my Lego spaceships and imagine how they could transform. Like that cockpit could transform into a foot, etc. On that AoE/TLK Prime you can't really tell what he transforms into so for me that doesn't sit well with me in a Transformers context.

    Yeah that HLJ site is a crappy untested mess. Same goes for the new amiami site and NY that break under any kind of stress.

    HLJ hat a major overhaul of their website in the last few days and not everything seemed to work properly. I had to reset my password to log in so maybe there is a similar issue with coupons. I would just mail their customer support and ask for clarification.

    I went ahead and preordered Set A and B for the 1/60 Valkyries. Hope it will get enough preorders. Good thing is that I have two naked VF-1S from Arcadia and since they don't seem to do standalone SSP sets anymore they are prime candidates for this add-on set. Do we know if the original designer for the Thunder Hummer is on board for FextHobbys endeavor?

    I like the design as well but I don't think it fits Optimus Prime or a Transformer.

    I agree that they didn’t had to release the MP Bumblebee for the start of the movie since it would’ve sold with a later release date. Might have been a upper management decision to this next. If you have no idea about collectible toys you probably think it is a good idea to sell all the Bumblebees with the release of the movie. That’s business 101 right? Out of curiosity where will this MP be sold in the States now that TRU is gone?

    I wonder if the inaccureate door wings are a result of a late change in the CGI model and the decision to make the whole movie look more G1. So to me it wouldn’t make much sense for a regular retail toy to change that given all the involved costs. However for a Masterpiece toy that wasn’t revealed after we saw the design on screen seems a bit lazy to me.

    Well it seems to run better now. I'm able to order something but can't log into my account. *thumbs up* What a nightmare for their IT department. I wonder if my preorders and PW purchases are still there.

    Wotafa reviews Unique Toys Challenger (TLK Optimus Prime): It is similar to their Peru Kill (AoE Lockdown) as in offering an impossible transformation where the original designers had no idea how Optimus gets from one shape to another. To me it is a shame that this impressive engineering is locked in Bayverse bots that I have no interest in. Why not utilize the same designer that did Challenger and Peru Kill to do an G1 Dreadwind that actually looks like an F-16 Fighting Falcon. On the other hand doing a sleek fighter jet that turns inside out into a robot is probably more difficult compared to the box that is a truck cab. If you are into the movie designs and love Transformers for their engineering I think you might need to get this line of toys. I think the next release is TLK Hot Rod which I look forward to in how it transforms.

    Seems like HLJ went live with their new site and I have already problems ordering items that are not that high in demand. It will be a fun Friday!

    I didn’t get any respone from the Moonbase 2 guy. They also haven’t talkend on their podcast about it so I assume there aren’t any news.

    I hope they do a YF-21. However I‘d prefer a VF-22 from Macross Delta first because I think it would be awseome to see Bandai try to implement an itegrated canopy cover.
