  1. Well, it would be very cool if it was tooled to fit the old fold booster. I still have mine, so I suppose we'll all find out in a few months.
  2. Would it be too much to ask mr k. to put a color scale in every image? (I kid, I kid)
  3. Changing my vote slightly, Sonic Birds and Black Aces for sure! and I'm actually curious how feasible another hasegawa team up would be. I wonder what Mr. K says?
  4. 1) Black Aces! 2) Blue Roses 3) Low Viz Grey 4) Woodland 5) 5 Grand Anniversary
  5. I have to say, I do find the "freak-out" to "I love it" prototype to purchase cycle highly amusing Also, I'm very much looking forward to this valk arriving on my doorstep.
  6. I really, really like this set up! Back in the day we used to joke that the orange paint on training aircraft used to mean "student pilot, KEEP YOUR DISTANCE! "
  7. All hatred of Robotech aside, what the heck is up with that artwork? There's some serious Rob Liefeld-style perspective butchering going on. And just to keep it marginally related...
  8. Rad, I'll just order from NY then. The price is pretty-alright. Thanks for the heads up.
  9. Hey, quick question: I don't usually collect Frontier stuff, so I'm not so knowledgeable about the renewals. I recently picked up the VF-25A Cannon Fodder and was looking to throw some super parts on it just for fun. I saw some cheap, used, super parts at the store. Did Bandai make different super parts for both the original VF-25s and the renewals, or are the super parts the same/fit compatible for both? I'm betting these are the original super parts based on the copyright date (2007), so I wanted to double check.
  10. We'll be guessing forever until the reveal, but VA-3?
  11. I keep waffling over buying this, glueing it in fighter mode, and painting it up as a low viz VF1.
  12. Swivel, like slant right and left? Or rotate like a two barreled auto canon?
  13. I've used the "grabbers" on the yamato launch arm stand to prop up my YF-19 in fighter mode. Basically, you have to tuck the "grabbers" underneath the rear end of the aircraft, so they're actually supporting the aft part of the fuselage. It looks...not great...but it's worked on my YF-19 with fast packs and fold booster mounted.
  14. Forget bundles, how about they start selling those stands!
  15. If I remember correctly, those are gun turrets.
  16. I just checked mine and the DYRL CF does not have the extra tampo on the vert stabs.
  17. I agree. I always liked the Bandai Origin of Valkyrie VF-1S Focker gray/black/yellow color combination.
  18. There are two kinds, the off-white DYRL type color parts and also grey-blue parts that are molded in the same color as the DYRL super strike packs. I've gotten boxes with both types and the packaging is identical. There are also brown optional parts for the DYRL CF valk, but those only came with that particular model.
  19. They really dug up the b-talent: Sean Young, Eddie Furlong, Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can't Loose!!!). Based off the previews I'd rather watch Star Trek Phase 2.
  20. I'll bet it's the high speed mode wing connector.
  21. Aw, I actually liked the old led effect.
  22. Hmm, pretty cool. Wouldn't it look more organic though when it crashed? Closer to the Meltrandi/Zentradi designs than the more angular Earth rebuild?
