Yeah, mine says that too. I wonder if they're waiting for the final invoices to go out to adjust the cost, or maybe that's just wishful thinking? I have half a mind to change my order over to HLJ, if only because N-Y doesn't have a dropdown location for for Washington, DC, and I'd rather not have something this expensive get lost in the mail...

Actually that's not a bad idea. A lot of the non cannon schemes from the Master File books use gray as the primary color, so all Yamato would have to do is put a gray unpainted valk out with some 1/60 squadron decal/sticker sets (or a 3rd party could source them) and we could go nuts. I was actually thinking about using one of my version one VF-1A cannon fodders to try the tan skull squadron scheme that's in the Space Wings Master File. Didn't seem like there was a whole lot of extra detailing needed on that one. Worth a shot for my first "custom" .

I really don't think that's the case. In the right-side photo, can you see how the strike package appears more green-tinged than the leg boosters? I'm betting that it's a photo processing thing, not a new color.

Oh yeah, I totally had one of those in the 80s too. No idea if it was a boot or not, but I remember getting it at Disney World of all places?

After pre-ordering the VF-4, I don't think I can swing the VE-1 as well. It's a shame, but at least I still have the V1 version. Oh well.
