I just watched a few reviews of the Toynami anniversary Voltron. I can't bring myself to get one. But I will say that the use of the key with the light up sounds made me smile. Not as much as if Toynami would have funded the Beagle Rook. I think they lost a sale though because if they released Rook, I wouldn't hold that against them and would get the Voltron. I still want accurate Lions but I don't think enough people would get separate non-transforming Lions. I assume if there was a way to make them anime accurate and transform it would have happened by now.

That Machiko Noguchi is a must own. The sculptor just did an interview on Sideshow's site. He sculpted many of their recent top statues. I have his Shaak Ti. He did Poison Ivy too. I don't get Sideshow's prices on Predator stuff. It's all over the place. I don't think I need the exclusive on her though. I'm still deciding.

I kind of want one of the Iron Man 3 suits. If only they weren't used for comedy and always breaking apart so easily. One of the coolest things to me back in the day was in Bubblegum Crisis Episode 6, when Priss is knocked out of a building. You see the jets of her hardsuit kick in to slow her rapid fall. The hardsuit didn't shatter or anything then. But later when the new suit shows up she commands it to release her. Actually it's on youtube. Visual is better than words. -

Maybe I'll just wait to see the movie to see if this new Deunan is cool or not. But right now I like the older look from the previous two movies more. The clothes as a casual thing I could see. But she's wearing body armor except where she should be. And I'm all for fan service. But they want this to look realistic and I assume be realistic yet have Deunan dressed like this? -
Same reason I don't get whatever pretty special effects movie on Blu-ray that I'll have no interest in watching.

There are some beautiful Minmay cels up. Expensive starting prices too. I guess people are passing because they like low starting price auctions.

So far Amiami is ok with me. What happened with the YF-19 wings? Was it a defect or shipping damage problem? I've been reading on MyFigureCollection about the changes to this figure. I think that will help me in deciding to pass. I like the original hair color and more detailed lips. Perhaps more actual pictures will change my mind. But I kind of hope not. Companies are ramping up on some good figures and I can't get figures I'm not 100% sold on.

No for me. I liked it when it came out. Rewatched some of it on VHS recently. I don't like it enough to own on Blu-ray.

The censorship is why I didn't get it. The package itself looked nice too. I've been waiting on an HD version by FX I think that version was called. I passed on DYRL and Flashback when Valkyrie Exchange had them. Kind of regret it now. The Ghost in the Shell movie wasn't that much of a bad idea. I think they were trying to get it to look closer to Innocence and away from The Matrix movies. But the look of Ghost in the Shell is so important that it shouldn't be changed. And adding modern CGI to only a few sequences just pulls you out of the movie. They should have redone all of it if they wanted to try that.

I think everyone who wants that figure wants it for her abs. I might have to get her myself. But there should be some female horror characters that would make better figures than these versions. They did that Ghostbusters girl. I would take a Gozer, the dreaming ghost girl, or a possessed Dana figure. I need some time to think of others.

That's soon. New in hand pictures should be sometime next week then. So many figures are coming out that I might have to miss out on this one though.

Yeah that's not for me. It looks like a game version of Prison School. Kotobukiya's Mara is out. She looks good. I'm going to wait for Amazon to get her. They have some big discounts on figures these days.

I don't think it is. I'm fairly sure Lucas or someone confirmed it around the time the newer Clone Wars cartoon started. That was one of the things that upset me during the time between Episodes 2 and 3. And the first sign that LucasFilm management didn't know what was going on with their stories. You had that cartoon showing the battle before Episode 3 and the lead up book as well. Both showed characters doing different things. That microseries even though it was good had the Jedi way overpowered. And if you read the leadup book it does a good job at fixing how bad the Jedi looked during Episode 2. And that they were getting close to catching the Sith.

This is a shame. HG doesn't do anything of interest to me. They or Toynami could have finished that Beagle Ride Armor / Cyclone for Rook. Other than that I haven't purchased Robotech anything for years. The last thing was the complete 2 disc CD sometime around 1999 or early 2000s. I'll get a Robotech Blu-ray if they decide to stop with all the different DVD sets. I just don't want to watch a few episodes of the new series on Youtube like I did last time with Frontier and realize that I'm missing a lot of quality animation.

When this comes out I hope the rights are cleared up so we can get it at the same time here in the States as Japan.

This is from a videogame? What's it called? I would think I would have seen it on Sankaku Complex by now. No I didn't. I don't like the foot attachment on that version and the sword holder. Although the first Plum version has a sword holder too I believe. There is yet another version coming out with her in a bikini that's similar to the second version from Plum. http://myfigurecollection.net/item/201973 There is also this other character from God Eater coming out. http://myfigurecollection.net/item/175846 Sideshow can be hit or miss sometimes. For the price they should always be hit. I'm waiting to see how their Harley Quinn turns out next month. She has a cloth material for her suit and people on the other forums still think that her nipple action might be removed for the released version. So far Sideshow has made the best statues of Artgerm's artwork.

Stuff that George Lucas or whoever in charge could say, this looks cool, let's use it. Like Aayla Secura and then completely make her look dumb in the movies. I've been out on the books for a while. I have a book list I'm behind on and I'm 95% sure I won't get those Star Wars books that are on it now. To me, I always assumed the EU books / comics were authorized by George Lucas. That when he wasn't making movies that these stories were in the same timeline. I never thought we would get bad prequels that ignore the stuff in the books and comics. Books and cartoons that have different versions of events that happened at the same time. And stories in the books, comics, and cartoons that handled the ideas of the original Star Wars universe better than the prequels. I know the new movies will make a lot of money. They are a franchise. And George Lucas not directing is probably a selling point. But at this point, I'm picking what Star Wars is to me. Similar to what's going on now with them saying the Star Wars timeline is the 6 movies and Clone Wars cartoon. I choose that Star Wars for me is the original movies (not the Special Editions), some of the books / comics that I own, and the comics leading up to Episode 3. Before the comic writers had to change stuff to match the garbage story of Episode 3. It's money saved for me. As I'm not going to play the new business plan / marketing stuff that will be going on this time.

I find it funny that there is a crab on the base, both looking and getting ready to leap into her sweet spot. This figure is a work of art. I love the cloth detailing. Why can't we get a Minmay like this? Without the revealing peek of course. I thought the artwork on the left was cute. Anime girl in cow bikini. Then I looked at the details. Where the milk is coming from. What the other girl is drinking. Man this stuff goes too far. The other figure I hinted at getting a few pages ago. Alisa from the God Eater games. She's getting a re-release and a second version. I'm still on the first game but I don't have to overpay for her now. First and second versions. She's cool without going too far.

Recent news once again confirmed that they are only going to be basically "inspired" by the EU stories. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/31765/producer-on-star-wars-7-expanded-universe I wish they weren't so set on needing the OT actors. As much as I like Harrison Ford, I don't want to see him get into the Han Solo character over the movie like in Indy 4. And I haven't seen Carrie Fisher act in anything in a long time. It's like they think they need the original cast just like they think they need Kirk, Spock, and McCoy for Star Trek.

These are the best of Ishtar that I've seen but they aren't cels. I think the first one is from promo poster artwork. Or it's very close. I might even have the poster. I can't remember if I've seen good cels of her. I think I've seen something from the opening a while back. Like 90% sure.

I still haven't seen the newer OVA yet. But I can't wait to see it eventually. I have two Revy figures. I'm a big fan of the anime.
