    I've been close. I have the Hot Toys Black Widow from Avengers figure. But I don't have her top all the way down like many. Nor have I looked. Not even a peek. I have the 009-1 figure from Organic which is hot. But cast off is a whole different level. Next step is the sexaroid / gynoid. I wish one of these Japanese companies made a cute version of Selene from Underworld. That way I could easily pass on the Meiko Shiraki Catsuit figure.

    I remember that on the front page. I'm looking for something more complete. Phone exterior design. OS icons, voices, sounds, menus, etc. Really no reason not to have one for Macross, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam, or any of the more popular tech anime shows. It's amazing to me that I've still only seen Evangelion and Eden of the East cellphones.

    Sideshow seems to be the safe way to go. The SideshowCollectors forum had pictures of scratched Batmobiles. I don't see scratches on the one here. But the images don't show the sides straight on. I think the WB Shop had the cheapest with free shipping. But they sold out a month or so ago. Anyone getting the 1/4 Dark Knight? I can't wait for that one. I didn't get the 1/6 versions.

    I saw this one on Neogaf a few days ago. This one goes further than the Meiko Shiraki ones to me. Also I saw release pictures of the Meiko Shiraki "Uniform" figure. Her face doesn't look as good as the prototype. So that's one down. Maybe the face on the "Catsuit" version will be a bit different too. Save me the money. And me going to the dark side of figure collecting.

    Your descriptions get better and better. I saw the prototype of this Meiko Shiraki "Uniform" figure a while ago. Perhaps here I can't remember. I didn't know where she came from but I thought the sculpt was hot. I just found the "Catsuit" version. Never have I wanted to get removable parts / cast off figures before just because. But I'm considering these even though I wouldn't remove the tops. The glossy black on the Catsuit looks fantastic. Also, this character is from a manga called "Prison School." I think this is one prison I wouldn't mind attending.

    Have a link to the details? But the "monthly services" thing sounds bad. I still want a Macross or Ghost in the Shell designed cellphone. You would think Microsoft would have jumped at the chance for more than just a few tablets in advertisments for Arise. But they have done this sort of thing before in Japan with Xbox and Windows having cute anime girl artwork in the ads.

    Auctions are always strange like that. You get a higher one. The next might be higher or lower. It's always guess work. Depending on how many crazy people come out.

    I hope the next Sorceress figure is a lot better. If not I might only get Elf. I don't like the extra stand. But she needs it for balance. That Amazon comment cracked me up and I've only seen bits and pieces of Jerry Springer. Which I'm very happy about.

    I still can't believe some company in Japan isn't making a phone with an anime interface. We should have a Macross or Ghost in the Shell themed phone by now. Microsoft had that fairly lame Ghost in the Shell Arise tie in.

    I saw this in Target today. I guess it's time for me to find someone with it. I told myself I wouldn't pay to see it. But I do want to see it. Give my opinion to the Net. Etc.

    I was thinking about using a gif for a background. Does that take a lot of battery power? I really want to run a small movie clip.

    Next episode looks to have some good action in it. I hope it's better than the first episode. Also, I was channel surfing this weekend and happened to stop on this show called "Hollywood Exes." One of the Exes almost has Motoko's hairstyle. I've seen cosplayers with wigs and stuff. But never someone with their hair really close to the actual style.

    I think people would want a massive Blu-ray set. Watching physical media is still higher quality compared to online stuff. But the people behind Robotech insist on milking this for all it's worth. So we get yet another DVD set. I continue to wait for the Blu-ray. That's what I was thinking too. I think another company released the last Robotech box set just last Chrstmas. And that's on a big sale right now. I read a forum post that said this new remastered version's box set is different and there still isn't a version of Robotech with the removed / cleaned up footage and normal sound effects. I watched an episode on youtube with the new sound effects and I didn't like it. It sounds too new. True, some companies can get away with making crap and keeping fans. When I stopped getting G.I. Joe and Transformers it was on a downhill slide. The toys and shows were bad. I guess Robotech is kept alive by people wanting to buy anything Robotech. I remember meeting a guy who has all the Masterpiece book package style Veritechs and didn't even open them. I told him that the Yamato versions were better and he didn't even care. I believe he had the Voltron from Toynami too.

    I know I don't have the card now. Unless it's in my parent's basement somewhere. I vaguely remember having one. But I didn't know Books Nippan had stores. I always called in orders. I wish I could go back in time and look for cels around that time. I was only getting books and a few CDs back then. I think I have some pencil boards? I know I have Macross, Dirty Pair, Zillion, and other laminate things. Oh and a few VHS tapes. Gunbuster, Dangaio, Macross II. Speaking of which I just found Devil Hunter Yohko on VHS. I think I only watched this once and can't believe I actually own it. The fan service is crazy in it.

    That's why I mentioned that the fan service is more direct in Arise. I'm a big fan of Ghost in the Shell. I have Motoko as my wallpaper. But in the movies the nudity had a point even if it was silly. Motoko needing to completely strip to use her camo. And her creation scenes. Even the stuff in SAC has an old school fan service feel. I have the uncut manga but I don't remember the homage scenes in Arise. What did you notice? Perhaps I'll watch Arise again if it's still online. So far it's different. The change could have something to do with something I won't spoil. At least that's what I was thinking on first view. If not this is an alternate universe. Which I don't understand why they needed to create. SAC did a good job of linking up to the first movie. Both at the end of 2nd Gig and SSS. In terms of the look of the characters and Motoko's state of mind.

    I was looking for reviews last night and stumbled upon the full episode for viewing. First off, I don't like watching anime that much online. Even though the quality is better than the bootleg VHS I used to watch at times when I was young. It's no where near DVD or even Blu-ray quality. Unless you are really looking for illegal copies. And of course the music isn't in any sort of surround sound. With that, this is the least I've been excited after a new Ghost in the Shell show. The whole thing feels off. The music is completely different. Not better than the movies and certainly not better than SAC. It didn't stick with me at all. At times the show looks good. Others it looks kind of dull and borderline generic. I know this is supposed to be the origin of Motoko. And she makes mistakes. Kind of like the origin of Bond in Casino Royale and Batman in Dark Knight. In fact Motoko makes a huge mistake in this OVA. But the show left me wanting not to see the other episodes in the OVA but to watch the original movie and some of SAC. Which I did last night. I remember reading posts that some people didn't like Solid State Society. But that's a far better show than this. Of course, we still get the references to future events / iconic scenes. Which happened as well in SAC. But enough is enough. It's easy to do that now and a sign of no real ideas to me at this point. I think the best thing about the show are the action scenes which are quick and fluid. Maybe the other 3 OVAs will be better but this isn't a good start. I remember seeing by surprise the first episode of Ghost in the Shell SAC. I caught it late at the raid scene. It was in a period when I wasn't watching anime yet I immediately knew that was Motoko and I wanted to see more. This show I don't have the same feelings. In fact, the first few episodes of Psycho-Pass are far better than this. * The fan service is the most I've seen or at least more direct in this show too. We get Motoko in her underwear many times. Plus nude.

    Painted pictures of the Dragon's Crown Sorceress figure. I think the unpainted prototype looked better. I know it's not about her face. But her face looks a bit mean or something. It's her lips basically. I guess I'll see what the other version looks like. That should be good since it's based off the promotional artwork. Also, with all these school girl / cute figures. I'm surprised we don't have figures for the old Valis games. Perhaps I mentioned it here before or read about others wanting them on another forum. This would make a good figure if they didn't go too far. Although I do remember talk of a final Valis game or something that went too far. I didn't want to look at it.

    I think everyone here would have picked up the Rook Cyclone / Ride Armor. It's awesome. Sad that we didn't get it and Toynami showed little business interest in giving funds to help. Nope. My order: Rook / Houquet / Fuke - Always release the girls first. With all the girl figures that sell, it's crazy that one of the best anime bikes didn't get made first. Tie between: Stick / Scott Yellow / Lancer - Lancer's bike is cooler but Scott is the main one. I prefer Lancer's bike.

    I remember someone here had an animated gif for an avatar before I joined up. It was a clip with an anime girl adjusting her swimsuit bottom or something of that nature.

    I just watched the opening and trailer for Great Dangaio. The look isn't anywhere near as good as the original. I just read the wiki and now I'm trying to find an image of Mia in Great Dangaio. I know I'll be disappointed. It's sad that we don't have a complete version of Dangaio on DVD or Blu-ray. Maybe there is a Japanese version. I'm searching for Dangaio stuff now. I found a discussion on the AnimeNation forums about it. I just remembered that I need to watch Iczer-1 too. I have a Iczer-1 book of some kind around here. It's completely in Japanese and I don't know why I got it back in the 90s. They are talking about Zeorymer too so I guess I'll add that to my list.

    I think I need to see Wonder Woman painted. I bet she'll look a lot better. Right now she's kind of mean looking. But Black Canary's legs in the background look fantastic! I still don't get why we aren't getting any good Deunan figures. That first Intron Depot book is full of great Deunan illustrations. It seems like all the Shirow Masamune figures are for his generic characters.

    You picked up two Hot Toys Batmobiles? It looks like two in that box. And I thought the Toynami version was big. The Hot Toys version is huge. I've seen a few people on the other forums talking about scratches. I'm playing a bit of a wait and watch game right now. Between this Batmobile and the incredible looking 1/4 Dark knight that's a lot of toy money.

    I'll pass on that. Trying to stick to the character cels. Or a really good Dangaio attack cel with a character. I need to watch the OVA again to see what scenes. Ouch. That Dangaio model goes for that much. Wasn't it easy to get originally? I think both are too small anyway. The Yamato valkyries are huge compared to both I believe. Maybe if some company would start with Mia's ship they could see how many are interested.
