    That custom VF-1 is amazing. It's far more than I was thinking with just a few stickers here and there. I'm going to search around for a thread on that project.

    When Yamato released Max's 1/60 VF-1S weathering, I was tempted to get one. However, I thought that the perfect version of the jet would have battle damage from his battle with Milia. I guess Yamato won't release a version with battle damage. Has anyone here seen someone modifiy their VF-1S with battle damage? Maybe custom stickers / decals for sale? Thanks.

    I will be watching reviews hopefully in the next few days to decide what I'm going to do. I'm fine with a director or company wanting to remaster, touch up, or whatever to their movies. But they have to release an original unaltered version as well. Even if the changes are as small as altering or blurring those two clips. I'm not about to pay $200+ for basically a lot of extras when there will be the potential of another true unedited release on a future format.

    That's cool then. However, I'll still need to look words up to translate. I'm only so so with Japanese but reading manga helps.

    There are a bunch of anime shirts I would like. But I like simple designs. Maybe something with the Macross and Skull Squadron logos. Perhaps with Hikaru or Max's number on it. It looks like custom design is the only way as a lot of these shirts go too far for me.

    Are any posters coming out for the anniversary? I think there was a small one with the DYRL review posted here on MW.

    What should be the version of DYRL better not be edited. I remember the old days of that "Clash" movie which was edited. I didn't even want to look at that. A friend somehow got an unedited, dubbed in English version of DYRL on VHS with Japanese subtitles! I still have it to this day.

    I still haven't read Haruhiko Mikimoto's Gundam manga. I really want to read Macross the First. I guess it's never coming out over here. Maybe it's time to dig out my Japanese books again and prepare to look up Kanji.

    I think it's time for some company to come out with a Motoko Kusanagi statue with her in uniform and the "Cash Eye" episode suit. There are tons of stealth suit Motoko statues/figures out and that Vice/Alter one is still the best.

    I just started watching High School of the Dead. The "fan service" is funny. It kind of reminds me of the service in anime shows like Gunbuster and Dangaio but far more obvious.

    I think there was something on Gabriela Robin about a complete Macross Frontier set. Maybe it was just in the comments. I can't remember as it was a few years ago. However, it did take a while to get that Ghost in the Shell SAC soundtrack set.That's why I was thinking that maybe we would see something this year with the Macross anniversary.

    I wish that Priss figure was 1/6. I didn't know it was 1/12. The Yamato release with the Motoslave is smaller I believe. I couldn't get the Yamato after seeing a few reviews. Even the metallic version which looks cool is still the same toy.

    The Toynami version of the Legioss seems really similar to the original Gakken Alpha fighter I sold. Just with a few more details. I hated dealing with that thing. The CM doesn't seem to be as close to the anime drawings either. Yamato should do a Legioss toy. It would probably be the best. I love my 1/48 and 1/60 VF-1 valkyries. I thought Yamato was going to finish the Beagle ride armor/cyclone. At least release Rook's version. Beagle should have released Rook's version first. Every anime fan gets the girl characters. I don't know what Beagle was thinking. I know the two guys are the main characters but still I would think that a cute girl on a sportbike would sell more than a few guy characters.

    Has anyone heard of a Macross Frontier Complete Soundtrack in the works? A few years back I read something on another forum about the possibility of a complete soundtrack. I've been holding off on all the normal releases just in case. Yoko Kanno did put together a Ghost in the Shell soundtrack box with all the released CDs and a extra track compilation of songs. That GitS release is still missing a few songs however. I would like a complete Macross Frontier soundtrack to go with my original Macross the Complete CD set.

    I don't know what's going on with anime in Japan these days. I look at lists of what's popular and the majority of it doesn't interest me at all. I'm surprised that they even make statues of these characters. However, a few shows will come out every once in a while that get me interested. For example, I can't wait to see 009 RE Cyborg. Also, I still haven't seen the Black Lagoon OVA and bunch of older shows like Death Note and Darker than Black.

    I want a high quality Priss statue. I have one of the original models. The one from the B-Club cover that I still need to put together eventually. I also have the Atelier Sai Priss figure. One would think that companies would revisit a lot of the classic anime shows for statues now that high quality and fairly low cost versions can be made. I'm sure Hot Toys could do some knock out original Dirty Pair figures of Kei and Yuri.

    Does anyone know the best version of the Legioss/Alpha fighter? I had one of the first toys but sold it a while back. A few of the new versions still seem to have the problem with the small landing gear. I want to get a good red version. Also, it's a crime that we never got Rook's cyclone from Beagle. I still hope that a fan of the show at some company decides to finish the project. That is easily one of the best anime sportbikes.

    Hi guys, anyone know why Bandai is making these valkyries so limited? Maybe I just didn't see the answer back in this thread. I remember all the Yamato VF-1 versions (at least the ones I wanted) were easy to pick up.

    I can't wait for DYRL on Blu-ray. The limited edition looks like a good one too.

    I have a Gold book. Sadly mine didn't come with the film strip just the poster. I didn't think I was missing much until seeing some of the images posted here.
