    I thought about getting that statue when she was previewed. But I don't get her pose at all.

    I wouldn't be surprised if and when a bootleg subbed version comes out. I wish it was done officially but all the legal stuff will probably go on forever at this point. I hate bootlegs too. The only thing worse than a bootleg is someone passing off a bootleg as original. Which I've seen happen too many times. Even at conventions where you think it wouldn't happen.

    This is the figure. I didn't like it too much. I don't think any Motoko figure will ever top the Vice/Alter Motoko statue. I still haven't seen a really good Baby Doll statue/figure that gets all the energy of the character. They are all too static for me.

    I always liked the design of Yellow's bike but I don't think the blades were ever used in the show.

    I checked some reviews on this Matty Collector Voltron. It looks like a lot of money for plastic with a lot of problems. I vaguely remember that the Toynami Voltron had many problems too. Honestly, I would be happy with non-transforming lions if they got the details right. There was a lot of magic going on with Voltron's transformation anyway. I remember parts disappearing and stuff during the transformation animation.

    I think some company made a Motoko figure. Maybe it was Hot Toys. I can't remember but it wasn't that good. At least not enough for me to purchase. And definitely not better than my two Motoko statues.

    Need more hints at what's coming in 2013. I would be happy with just Rook's bike. Everything else is a bonus.

    With all this Voltron stuff coming out, is the old diecast version still the best? I still have my old one. I might try to find a new version. Mine doesn't have the weapons and the Black Lion's ear is broken. I probably kept it for the lions as they are really cool. I always posed them sitting like in the end credits. I want to see accurate lion designs that are more high end like the Yamato valkyries. I love Saber Rider. I picked up the two disc soundtrack a while back. There is supposed to be a 3DS game coming out. I've only found vintage toys but I would love to see Hot Toys do some Saber Rider figures. Or someone attempt a transforming Ramrod with areas for the vehicles. I know it wouldn't be anime accurate. Ramrod seemed huge on the inside!

    I wish Hot Toys would do more anime characters. They did the Appleseed figures but I think that's it.

    I have it. The book still shows up on eBay or Yahoo Japan auctions from time to time. I think Southern Cross is cool. But then I grew up with it as part of Robotech...Good cels from Southern Cross and Mospeada are really hard to find.

    I thought those suits were silly at first too. But then I began to realize that a silly cute robot would help to break down someone's damaged mental state.

    Psycho-Pass Episode 2. A very slow episode compared to the opening. But maybe necessary. I might stop watching the show and pick up the Blu-ray down the line. The animation is really high quality and I know I'm missing out watching online. The scene in Akane's room should be seen in HD. Not just the shower fan service scene but all the virtual stuff going on.

    Already mentioned places but: Amazon both normal and their marketplace have good deals on anime from time to time. RightStuf. They have a deal section with really low prices. Also, they are in the Amazon marketplace. Buy.com. Sometimes they beat Amazon's prices. eBay. I've picked up new condition anime here from time to time. Usually low priced out of stock titles. I really like to own anime or at least see a high quality version. The recent Psycho-Pass is a good example. I know I'm missing a lot quality wise from what Funimation is showing online.

    The OVA God Phoenix is pretty cool too. Although, the original probably is the best. I have the toy/model that was released some years back with a plastic flaming phoenix. It's really good and has small vehicles that actually fit in the phoenix. Yeah. I love that scene when he runs to the jet. I wanted to find something similar of Hikaru or Max (this being Macross World) but I couldn't.

    I think you have to make a pretty good size model to get the details and for it to be realistic. I don't know the scale of the Beagle bikes but those are big compared to the Yamato motoslave. I guess what I'm looking (hoping) for is a combination of Hot Toys quality with the realistic bike. It doesn't even have to be transforming either. As I usually don't transform my stuff that much. If I do I always pick up a second one as a transforming playtoy.

    I haven't seen Yamato yet. I think they should do a Saber Rider live action movie. It would probably be better suited for live action compared to Go Lion/Voltron.

    Stumbled across an anime called Psycho Pass. It's a pretty good cyberpunk by Production I.G that just started last week. They really have the whole Blade Runner thing nailed with this one. The next Ghost in the Shell if they do one will be really impressive. The animation is beautiful at times and the music is strong. The gun and watches the main characters use are pretty cool stuff. There is an Akira moment that is crazy. I think this show airs almost at the same time here in the U.S (on Funimation) as in Japan. This is how they should have handled Macross Frontier. If the show continues in this manner I can definitely see myself picking it up on Blu-ray along with the soundtrack. I like it so much I think I'm going to watch it again tonight.

    Yeah I would prefer Yamato work on the Ride Armor. Right now my two most wanted model/toys would be Priss' motorcycles (both the motoslave & Highway Star) and Rook's cyclone. Probably the two best girl on motorcycle combinations. Maybe Yamato tested the waters with the small scale motoslave. But they had to realize that people would want a higher end version that wasn't so toy like. You would think we would have good versions of these by now.

    I was kind of excited about the Imagi Gatchaman before seeing the character design. Shinji Aramaki is working on this live action version so there should be some cool things in it. If anything we should get a good Jun yo-yo toy from this show. Actually we better get one because I've wanted Jun's yo-yo for years. Yet, after watching the Speed Racer movie. I have a feeling this live action Gatchaman won't get close to that level of quality. Speed Racer is the go to guide for live action anime.

    It is a pan cel. I guess it needs to be an original Mikimoto sketch to get people interested. I saw some of those recently and the prices were crazy. Try to get the name next time. People are always telling me about dealers with expensive cels. But they don't seem to have online shops.

    I always come to this thread hoping for good news on Mospeada or that Rook Beagle Cyclone/Ride Armor. Maybe this was answered but did Toynami ever say why they didn't finance the production of the Beagle version of Rook's Cyclone? I've never purchased a Toynami toy. I've heard some bad things. However, they did bring over the two Beagle Cyclones. Plus, I believe Toynami owns Cinemaquette, the higher end statue, prop company. Surely Toynami could afford to do a small producton of Rook's Cyclone.

    Do you recall the dealers name? There is a cel of Minmay falling from the opening sequence of DYRL on Yahoo Japan auctions. For some reason no one is buying it.

    I think I'm going to pickup this Hatsune Miku "Racing" statue. I barely know anything about the character except seeing that live hologram show on youtube. But this statue is too cool and futuristic to pass up. It's a shame we aren't getting Minmay statues like this. There are tons of possibilies for various costumes from her singing routines. Also, that hologram area in DYRL.
