Galaxy was a Corporate-sponsored fleet... and they had GHOSTS out the but, and VF-27s! there's every chance that any given fleet will be outfitted differently from another. I assume it would all depend on what models of VF get built near/in your system/fleet... unless they're doing the modern military thing and giving "regular soldiers/airmen" equipment that's "good-enough", so that they can support the actions of a few Tier-1 Bad-Asses in top-of-the-line Fighters...

I just started my own re-watch of Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Watching the show, and it being so good even when it's 100% exposition, really makes me want to read the books it's based on. -

if that nose profile is replicated I'll bite. the nose sections are interchangeable between hasegawa variants to accommodate different heads, so a new nose mold is not beyond the realm of possibility...

Nothing official yet that I'm aware of... I would expect this calendar year or the 1st q of next... I would assume Macross related kits sell beter if they release while there's a series/movies/etc going on

That's too bad, but my wallet is relieved. I'd be interested in a simplified gear-closed/hatches-closed/no-gimmicks kit, if you ever scale it down... just saying but I am one of those weirdos who builds 90% of my stuff closed-up and in-flight...
