My understanding is Blappy acquired the masters from the good captain [Mr. Moscato] and is now casting the kit and retailing it through SSM. I'm hoping to pick at least one up when they go up for sale, but we'll see how raided that particular piggybank is when that happens

in the shot in question there are explosions in the foreground [low left of the frame], behind the tank/archway the entire street is exploding, dust is flying up from [what I assume] are it's repulsor-lift systems... and both crew are unbuttoned and exposed! if that tank is immobile/grounded it's either from damage, or Imperial troops are even less combat-capable than their hit-ratio throughout the saga would suggest... OR: it's a composited promo shot which has no bearing on how it will function in the film; because promo material is only concerned with looking cool, not representing a sci-fi tank properly in any sort of fashion. the "NOT FINAL" tag in the top-right corner tells me not to read too much into the vehicle's effectiveness based on the promo shot. -
I always thought the reason they didn't mount one on it was because they incorporated Zentran grade laser-cannon into the VF-4, what with having access to the Factory Satellites and all... but you're right: accept no substitues for a GAU [or two], I just wish there was a practical way to centerline-mount one... it would cause complications with the transformation, wouldn't it? can you snap us a fighter-mode pic [or several] with twin-underslung GAUs? I'd like to see if it really does look as terrifying as I'm imagining

Hasbro... that explains it... wait... it's fixed in flight-mode? Hasbro, your X-wing doesn't even X!! I've written the PAL exam and the restricted, but it'll probably be a couple more pay-cycles before I have the cash on-hand to send it in. ........ I had never Heard of CGN, thanks for the heads-up!

Not likely, He's the sweetest old man. Met him at my local Comic-con and got his autograph on my B5 season 1 DVDs. Chief Garibaldi was my favorite... this is terrible news to Paraphrase Captain Sinclair: "Goodbye Old Friend" -

I'm perfectly at peace with a decent B-movie getting blockbuster level effects [thanks to CGI]... that's all Kong has ever been to me anyway... right up until that scene in "Inglorious Bastards" where the SS major is playing 20 questions...

I'm game... interesting to see a more modern take... wonder if it's set during 'Nam... I'm seeing a lot of kit from that period including the Hueys, M-60s, M-16s, and helmets, if so then I'm completely sold on it! on an aside: anyone note how frakking huge Sam's 1911 looks at 0:50? looks like it's a 7" barrel... *on closer inspection, that's not a 1911, just a pistol that resembles it and is REALLY long... but I like it! I wonder what it really is, or if it's a straight-custom job...
