Personally I liked 0 a lot. I think people got really confused with the AFOS and decided that it was magic. But the fact is that it was all alien technology that was interacting with Sarah and the Mayan people. I always compare it to the old days when steam tech came into play with the churches in the ancient world. People thought it was mystic when they would step on the entry plate to the church and the doors would open up automatically. People would say it was an act of god or a mystical magical thing. The thing they did not understand was that there was a lot of the machinery and steam power at play. As far as I can tell, Mac 0 was not very popular in Japan for some reason. It seems to me that it is more popular outside of Japan.

Roy will always be one of the more popular vf-1's

Congrats and welcome to the club. This site will help you bleed money on valks LOL. Since I have been on here, I have compiled a pretty large collection of valks, but nowhere near Kickers level I started collecting later than a lot of the members here. I started around the 1/48 to V2 1/60 era. You will love the VF-1's they are easy to transform and look great.

I have also been looking at these for a while. I found a site that was selling them that had youtube videos of them being assembled. They looked pretty easy to assemble with help, I couldn't tell which site though...

I like all variants of the new 19 molds. The blue color is really nice to look at on the S and F, it's a nice deep blue. The P variant is also sweet, I think it looks waaay better in person than the pics can show you. One thing to mention though, is that I bought the P thinking I would leave it in battroid mode only to really prefer it in fighter mode. The thing is just so sexy in fighter mode that I think I will keep it that way. I also have a 19 Kai also though that is in perma battroid mode, so that may be influencing my decision. Plus I needed at least one visible Basara pilot.

Knowing is only half the battle! Now we have to camp on pre-orders lol. I will try to get this one although I am kinda bored with the Alto colors..... So it will be Gilliam heh. Was it said that Alto is the pilot of this machine? I think I missed that if it was mentioned.

I would think that it would turn out like the 1/60 v2 "No Painting" version that was released maybe a few years back. I have that one and the kit version, so I never even bothered to build the kit.... http://www.hlj.com/product/ymt00181

Did you purchase it from them? And how long ago?

If you bought the Item from HLJ or maybe another helpful vendor in Japan, they may be able to help you. HLJ handled parts replacement for me before. I had needed the rear square screw cover on my VF-0A that Yamato forgot to install and when they did the 1/48 Roy renewal, they forgot the arm vernier thruster in one arm. HLJ got me the parts.

It really is not a bad looking valk at all. I did prefer the green parts over the purple at first but kept my pre-order on it. I am glad that I did, when I put this one next to alto's I feel like the scheme is more believable on the non cannon version.

Weird, because NY is stating "Pre-Order March 2013"

I hope so, as I spent $600 bucks on VF-4's but feel like I only Have $300 worth. It sucks they are taking so long though because I already have mine disassembled waiting for a new part. It's been hanging out on my hobby mat since Jan.

LOL, Gulag?

This is the same thing I fear, I wonder if this is why HLJ have not really had a large listing of Yamato valks for a while. They used to have a few pages but it slowly dwindled over the past year or more. I read Scott T Hards actually started HLJ because of his Macross obsession. All I know is that they will lose a ton of my money if they move to creepy dolls that don't transform. I never spent any money on the Yamato PVC's either. Wonder where Mr. K would go if this was the case and Arcadia drops major production of Valks. If Arcadia stops making valks all together I would want to say the "Golden Age" of Macross toy collecting is over

I need pilot figures badly. I would love to assemble all the squad's pilots in flight suites. I am not a figure collector for the most part, all the PVC's I have were gifts. It seems like it is really rare for a male figure to be made in PVC, but if they made Pilot figma's or something similar I would buy them.

Hold on, so they are doing re release #3 on this valk now? They really need to re issue the 25's so all my brethren get a chance to own one or all of the current released V2's.

Armerd Factory (Plastic model) real dimension

From what I can tell, I think he want's the 1/60 vehicles for his H Hagar build. He may have been looking for a cheaper route to get some support vehicles in his hangar. -
Like I said, I will try to keep calm for now. Yamato is the only company to make a toy line that I just had to have at least one each (Modern 1/60's). I was looking at them (Yamato) while the 1/48's were out, but it seemed like the collection of various VF's would never be completed in that line up so I only bought the ones I really wanted, or did not have 1/60 color scheme equivalents. They released the version 2's and it was on like you could not believe. I had pretty much kept my collection of Yamato's current from then on out. I felt like Bandai couldn't get my money at the time, I mean look at the Frontier version 1's, they make me sick just looking at them lol. I finally gave Bandai a chance once the version 2's came out, but it's just so damn hard to secure the damn things. I am lucky to have gotten the Bandai v2's that I have I guess. It would make me most likely quit collecting Macross toys if Arcadia stop making valks. I would actually say that Yamato toys is actually the reason I am a member here. My first post after lurking for so long, was about me getting the Original Isamu YF-19 or the double nuts first. I think the post was closed by David , but I ended up getting the cannon Isamu and Guld schemes, my first Macross toy purchase. I was so excited about them, that I bought them at full price from HLJ on the same order.

Aliens: Colonial Marines morphs into Isolation

You know, I think this game will also fall into the value game segment. I wish ID soft would have made an alien game when they were in their prime and the lead dev platform was the PC...- 216 replies

I ended up buying 17-D number 2 to complete Diamond Force. I got this one from Amiami also, but I bought the combo set again so I may have to end up selling off a spare unopened Super Parts set. I decided to jump on it right after I got all freaked out about the Yamato/Arcadia announcement. I was going to wait for it to go on sale for more, but decided I would rather have it than not just in case.
