It's funny that on a political level, France and Germany want to co-develop a successor to the Typhoon and Rafale, while the french and german branches at Airbus are basically at war with each other. -

The concept art IMO leaves it more open if these structures are metropolitan high-rises. The production art also doesn't feel like a city build around the spaceship, more like the ship being superimposed on generic city imagery. So which way to take for a 3D representation? Can anybody decipher the annotation in the sketch?

I don't think the parts you see are the fan blades, but the afterburner ends. And IMO this kit is designed with a minimal parts count for the more casual modeler, and to keep it somewhat affordable (we'll see about that...)

Better skip the primer and just lay on a base coat of white or grey paint with an airbrush, where you have more control and can get closer to the surface.
