I don't think the parts you see are the fan blades, but the afterburner ends. And IMO this kit is designed with a minimal parts count for the more casual modeler, and to keep it somewhat affordable (we'll see about that...)

Better skip the primer and just lay on a base coat of white or grey paint with an airbrush, where you have more control and can get closer to the surface.

Wallace & Nathan were megalomaniacs in their own league, but Isaac nailed it while Leto was trying to hard, IMO. Interestingly, Villeneuve had David Bowie in mind for the role.

To me it looks more like a "russian" version of the VF-1. -
Btw, was anybody else impressed by Dave Bautista's performance? Jared Leto was, to me, the weakest link in BR2049's cast.

You haven't seen Slow SF until you have sat through a Tarkovski movie... I did like the pacing, it gave me time to marvel at the scenery, it also reminded me how Kubrick did things, or Sergio Leone.
