  1. I guess their A-Team is still busy with the Evangelion line...
  2. Wallace & Nathan were megalomaniacs in their own league, but Isaac nailed it while Leto was trying to hard, IMO. Interestingly, Villeneuve had David Bowie in mind for the role.
  3. To me it looks more like a "russian" version of the VF-1.
  4. Btw, was anybody else impressed by Dave Bautista's performance? Jared Leto was, to me, the weakest link in BR2049's cast.
  5. You haven't seen Slow SF until you have sat through a Tarkovski movie... I did like the pacing, it gave me time to marvel at the scenery, it also reminded me how Kubrick did things, or Sergio Leone.
  6. Just back from the cinema, it's been a long time since my mind has been f#kd this good.
  7. Is it hardcore Matchbox only or can I join with my Revell re-issue of the Victor bomber?
  8. Cylons? http://news.toyark.com/2017/10/05/nycc-2017-tamashii-nations-pacific-rim-display-273138
  9. Did they use the old 1/144 Imai kits as reference? The proportions look horrible.
  10. That was a perfect moment in Anime history.
  11. "From the writer and director of "Ex Machina"..." was enough to get me hooked, and it actually looks pretty cool.
  12. So they have to re-design the Valks for legal reasons but the Battroid looks like a Battroid (minus the I-can't-really-draw factor)?
  13. P-Bandai 1/60 Astraea in 3 - 2 - 1...
  14. Some 4th gen beauty
  15. The MG V1 and the PG are all the ver.Ka. you could wish for. Now where's the button to vote for a proper S-Gundam ver.Ka.?...
  16. Now that is a nice Blaster you got there...
  17. There's a bit much of jumpin' and runnin' going on there, isn't it?
  18. Gaah! http://www.taghobby.com/archives/223225
  19. Mirage in progress
  20. I agree that the Flash Gordon era ships were indeed great, but they closer they got to the OT timeline, the weaker the designs became IMO. What I do like is the lineage of the Stormtrooper design, from the Clone Trooper to the recent iTrooper. It's amazing that the McQuarrie/Johnson machines are cultural icons, and nothing comes up to fill their footsteps.
