  3. I found the explosion effects on Amazon however I cannot seem to locate the cannon firing effects that were in a couple of those pictures. Anyone got any ideas about those?

  9. Nope. Lazy. I don't handle my valks a lot, so i don't worry about it. You can still transform them from time to time without anything rubbing off.
  10. YF-29 panel lining party today....
  11. Seriously Bandai, give us optional hard plastic head lasers instead of these POS soft plastic. Just look at the ones in those second round of pics. Not cool. Looks like I'm eventually going to have to buy a set or two of Kurisama's on Shapeways and attempt to paint match if I get hosed.
  12. Do it. Do it. Dooooo it!!!

I have 6 of the Toynami battlepods and I havent' ever had a problem with them coming apart. All mine were/are rock solid. Considering I think I paid $10 a pop for them, I still like them. Not in scale with much, but still cool to have some enemies that fit on shelves with 1/60 stuff.
  15. That looks awesome! Great job!
  16. Easy. The wash is clay based, even after its dry, get a toothbrush, a small cup of water, and remove from the panel lines. I use a Qtip to clean up any areas that look a little "dirty" from pure white areas after t get the lines crisp. Experiment around with it. It will stain matte pure white valks.....if you leave it on long enough. Which is cool if you're going for a weathered look. However, with the Bandai glossy stuff, you're safe from that.
  17. You really shouldn't be Spanner. It's super easy and 100% reversible if you're not happy. I recommend trying it on a Bandai 25 first as they are super glossy and that is the best place to start for a first try. I always start on the underside of one wing to see how the wash is going to flow over the surface. The glossier the easier. The older Yamato stuff is a little harder because of the matte finishes.
  18. Finally got around to panel lining my 30. Came out good. ProModellers Dark Dirt clay based wash was applied with a small paint brush and excess was wiped off with a barely moist finger/cloth.
  19. I loved my 94 Vette with the pop up headlights....when they both worked properly. Lol. I did a lot of "winking" at people some nights. Good times.
