    Caved in and got my 2nd 29. Love this paint scheme...with one minor nitpick of the black plastic swing arm going through the white skull. Gonna have to attempt a paint fix for that at some point. The more I look at the 29, the more I begin to think it's my new favorite fighter mode...so sexy.

    Gorgeous weathing/battle damage there. IMHO it all depends on what you want to go for. If you go off the anime, they always look brand new off the assembly line, so semi gloss or even gloss looks like the cartoon footage. If you want the "real life" look, then weather the crap out if it!

    I gotta say I love the way Bandai got rid of the gap between the chest and nosecone in battroid. Looks better than the Arc version.

    Thanks for the kind words Cheng! I'm sure guys that do a lot of WWII armor could really go nuts on this kit and make it look amazing.

    Got the cockpit done. Didn't put a ton of work into it as you're not really gonna see it. Also trying a new technique for Chewy, we'll see if it works out.

    If you want to see what kind of guy James Cameron has become, check out the documentary on Netflix about his deep sea exploration. Very interesting film. It's called Deep Sea Challange. Worth a watch.

    The detailing is superb. Wait until you see the cockpit. Easily on par with any of the older FIne-Molds kits. Two Thumbs up so far.

    Progress so far. I can now officially say that these SW Bandai kits ROCK! Everything snap fits perfectly. Not one single drop of glue used yet. Even the tiniest parts fit right like they should. Modeling has never been easier. Try them out!

    I don't eat and drink in my car unless it's water in a bottle. That being said, I do make exceptions when I'm driving somewhere on vacation. Like a Blizzard from DQ or something as I'm going down the road. However...my current car - Lexus IS 350 and my previous car..BMW 128i are the worst things EVER for usable cup holders....so that's why I really don't bother, but damn, it's Texas, it's hot at hell and sometimes in the summer, I'm envious of people with properly designed cup holders that hold more than a freakin dixie cup!!!...
