damn that's a lot of $$$ for that toy. I've got 4 of the original TV color and one of each of the missile one's. I never really had a problem with the Toynami one's. Ohh sure, they had practically no movement to them, they weren't great by any means, but I think I paid $10 a piece for them. With a little weathering, they really look pretty good next to some 1:60 Yammies. No they aren't in scale, but who has room for that scenario??? Just wish they would have made the recon scout type.
  3. I like the 11, but never understood the gushing over it. Mine was semi-floppy out the box and now doesn't stand up without being propped against the back of the shelf. And I have transformed it maybe 5 times. It looks great in fighter and battroid, I dunno, maybe I just got Yamatoed on that one. The heat shield was a pain to do the first time, took someone on the MW forums to figure it out correctly.
  4. That's a great idea EXO! I hate those damn bottles!
  5. Fabulous work as always!
  6. If you have time, please post some more detail about which joints you switched for ball joints . . . Yes! I would love to learn how to do this as well!
  7. Great formation!
  8. Awesome work!!! So glad to see another person building these kits! Looks amazing!
  9. Wanna sell it???!!!
  10. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually like the Focker scheme the best followed closely by the Ozma, but the Ozma head looks weird to me. I'll just stick with one for now. My CC is on fire after the last month of Valk purchases. Gotta let it cool off...
  11. I have officially joined the YF-29 club....I dig it...totally badass looking in fighter, and battroid!
  12. You know honestly, I don't think I ever even tried to put my Fast Packs on my 21....I think I thought why would one want to cover up the pretty blue with boring grey?
  13. So has anyone built one of these new Bandai kits yet? They are all molded in color .. sort of..and supposed to be snap-tite, which is great and all, but are you guys thinking that one should primer over the pre-molded color and re-spray, build as is and just weather or what? If I'm gonna go to all the effort of painting then honestly I would rather just track down the old FineMolds Y-Wing kit for example and start fresh. I have the new Bandai Darth Vader Tie to build at some point so I'm open to suggestions...
  14. I don't know--someone would have to be extremely brave IMHO opinion to try to light a solid resin kit--especially one's as nice and $$$ as the Moscato kits.

  16. I may try to light up my 1:500 Bandai Yamato battleship as my first lighting attempt later on in the year if I get to it. That looks like it would be fairly simple to do as it was designed for it. As some around here may recall from like 2 years ago, my very first attempt at lighting an Enterprise D clear kit ended with the POS getting hurled into a wall. I still have all the wiring, LED's and soldering stuff I bought packed up in a box along with another Enterprise D kit for a day a long long long from now to try again.
  17. Yessir! I'm loving the Tornado parts! Really gives the Valk some bulk and coolness, kinda like a bodybuilder or something. I'll get some pics this weekend on a YetiStand hopefully!
  18. Finally snagged a 25G with all the trimmings from a fellow MW member! 25 Frontier Valks are now all accounted for!
  19. Lots of parts fun to be had in the next few days!!! FINALLY snagged a 25G with all the trimmings!
  20. I have zero practice or skills to try lighting a normal kit, much less a resin one.
  21. These two look like a good size to me... http://www.robotechparaguay.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=317 http://gbmshop.blogspot.com/2011/07/x-9.html
