    Toothpaste is an extremely fine abrasive. It takes forever, but it does eventually get out fine scratches.

    Does anyone know if there is anybody or a website out there who has translated the Japanese instructions for any of the new Bandai Star Wars kits? So far all the figure and small kits have been easy to figure out from the pics, you can pretty much deduce what's going on from the pictures. I opened up the new 1/72 Y-wing and it is a bit more complex. English translations of the directions would be helpful. I found a website once that had some of the old Macross kits instructions translated, that helps a lot. Thanks in advance! Edit...nevermind!     I love your pics as you know Saburo, I only wish I could get you all my frontier Valks that are panel lined and neatly stickered up for some added realism and detail. It just ads so much to the Bandai valks! I bet you could shoot them to look absolutely fantastic!

    Bandai's 1/12 First Order Stormtrooper completed. Need to paint the gun and whatever his baton anti lightsaber stick is to be movie accurate later on. Added the blue energy effect for fun.

    I wouldn't have known about the markings unless I had built the 1:48 Finemolds Xwing a few years ago, and I'm a pretty huge SW nut, so I can't blame the cgi guys too much

    "TRAITOR!!!".... Bandai 1/12 First Order Stormtrooper. The weapons Bandai falsely advertised on the box as being detailed white and black and silver.. they ain't.. gonna have to painstakingly paint them to look right when the weather warms up. Otherwise, another great kit. Edit...decided to add some blue energy lighting bolt looking stuff to his...whatever it's called anti lightsaber weapon. I love it.

    Shipping notice this morning from HLJ! Total shipped came out to $327 and change...wheeeeeww..steep...might have to rethink the vf-4 reissue next month. Feel bad for you guys who get hit with steep customs fees.

    Big s --- I use Ebay if I can't find it for cheaper or with faster shipping than Amazon. I've bought the last 3 or 4 from the same guy in Japan, he's got good feedback and he's very reasonable.
