In my opinion, the Cosmo SDF-1 is a very stylized take on the ship. It definitely takes some getting use to. I think it works better in attacker mode than cruiser. The model has always in my opinion nailed cruiser mode perfectly. It's amazing they did so well back in the 80s. I only wish another company would make a modern one at a larger scale using that one as a jumping off point for the diminsions. I'll post a side by side pic later today for you.

Got lucky and scored the last missing 1/144 Tomytec I was missing off Amazon for 9 bucks with reward points, Roy's Skull Leader, I'm gonna miss these little guys if they don't make any more...great quality and detail, 2.5 hours to build lazily from box open to in the display cabinet.

About $185 not including shipping, I'll pass and keep my original Yammie's. Got my M&Ms back in the shelf warmer days for $100 bucks a piece. Happy for those of you who missed out back in the day and don't have to unload a ton of cash to get them into your collection!

Well... as we haven't heard anything on this line in quite a while, I'm afraid it's probably dead, but I was able to hunt down a VF 1S fighter mode on Amazon last night and with reward points I had, I only paid nine dollars for it! Total late night win! The few Macross Tomytecs on eBay are ridiculously priced.

Looks great! Sadly, since we have not heard anything, I fear this line is DOA at this point. Which sucks frankly, as now we'll never have a complete Delta squad, or any other cool stuff.

As a die hard Star Wars fan, I gotta say that teaser trailer was kinda mehhh, I'll wait for the 1st real trailer. High hopes for the film though!
