    Cersei gets a healthy dose of humanity in the show, which is a good thing. As for Brienne saving Sansa - besides the clumsy execution of the fight scene it also bugs me as being pretty standard heroic fare - which the show/books avoided for the most part. As for Snow, he will be coming back - but as what is the real question. Pretty nice for the actor in this first episode, playing a corpse is pretty easy if they don't focus on your character for too long (holding your breath being the only real challenge)

    I'm rewatcing Gurren Lagann, for the most part an excellent english dub, only real miss in the VA cast is Nia.

    I mean the Magnificent Seven, did you see any of the sequels "Mag 7 ride" "Mag 7 something else", they are BAD, really BAD.

    After that dreadful (truly dreadful) season ending episode then can kill off the whole cast.

    Saw the trailer and it made my list to see in the IMAX. It just looks incredible.

    I certainly don't. But since it has been brought up I have no problem pointing it out.

    Not really, he taught her that no matter what she said their would be no consequence - the worst was going to happen either way. (he did not know she had lied when they blew up Alderaan)

    How? No matter what a sequel to a movie may bring it does not have any effect on the original (unlike people who may totally mess up their legacy by their future actions). Take Highlander as an example - it is still a great film despite the sequels.

    In practically the exact same pose with the exact same look on her face.

    Which argues against her being able to pick up the Jedi/force abilities she displays in the film. Can't have the one (not remembering her trainer) with the other (enough training to use the force the way she does). I have no problem pointing out that "The Force" in Star Wars works like FTL speeds in Babylon 5 (moves at the speed of plot)

    I say ATAT and call the other one a scout walker. When someone tries to "correct" me I simply say "yeah, just like I said atat..." Same thing with the word Genre (which I pronounce jen-your). If I were in France I would pronounce it more like john-rah.

    and running around during the movie being surprised that Jedi are real... They have a plot hole to fill if that is the case.

    I don't know if I should post here or in the worst scifi movies of all time thread. I never knew just how much schlock Cannon films produced! For the MST3K reboot they should just raid the Cannon films catalog - though getting some of that on TV would leave them with 2 minutes of movie to riff. The truly sad part is I want to watch all of the stinkers in order now.

    Trying to nail down the differences between jedi and not jedi is like trying to nail jello to the wall. The original Trilogy made it seem that anyone with the Force was either a Jedi, a Sith, or totally untrained and unable to use it. Now it is who knows what since Rey picked it up in a couple minutes.

(the alarm is the collision alert sound for modern US navy - or at least was at the time of Empire Strikes Back, my brother in law looked up when he heard that and mentioned it, served in the navy)

    I was going to see it anyway but that was a good ad overall.

    The idea that someone would be upset that another language "stole" a word from another language truly baffles me.
