    Moontrap, oh how I laughed at thee... Loved the shuttle launch and everyone is moving around with not the slightest hint of gee forces.

    First Monday matinee will have plenty of empty seats no matter how well it does.

    Can't argue with that, but I was laughing at it most of the time (and that is not a joke) and I don't think it was meant to be a comedy.

    Too true! Watching some of the Hartnell and Troughton series are downright painful at times, some of Pertwee's suffer as well, but by the middle of his run they stopped padding them so badly - there was the occasional stinker still however...

    You just gave me a flashback to the latest Three Musketeers movie, I turned it off before it was even halfway through.

    I like how the Doctor is older but acts younger while the last Doctor was the youngest ever but acted older. I also like the slower pace of the two parters - being a Who fan from the late seventies it is like a blast from the past.

    Spider man, Spider man Its time to re-boot Spider Man First was "Toe"-be-Maguire his first was good but the rest got worse now we! need a new Spider man Next up was that Andrew guy even his first film was not so fly then came his second and it was really really really a dud now we! need a new Spider man Now the third - Spider Man is some guy named Tom Holland Yes this... is the new Spider Man... Is he good, we don't know - but Marisa Tomei is Aunt May So I... Will go see Spider Man....

    Somebody took all the shots of the crew looking at the viewscreen (and their facial expressions...) while playing the "dialog" from a pron movie...

    Was he jumping up and down on the couch while doing so? On a serious note - so far I have liked all the MI movies except some parts of the first one so will be happy to see another.

    The police cars seem to be CGI enhanced (when coming in for a "landing" at least). I could be imagining things.

    I'm a little slow on getting to new releases, mostly waiting on them to hit Netflix or Hulu, etc... Watched the first 3 discs of Stein's Gate - slowest first 11 episodes I think I have ever slogged through and then episode 12 happens. I watched all of disc 3 in one sitting (7 episodes) and will most likely do the same with disc 4.

    True. After I posted I also remembered how badly the PREQUALS messed up continuity (mostly for the worse in the case of the prequals)

    Other than the fact they break film canon in a massive number of instances.

    Didn't really matter, for the most part it involved staring at the forward view screen. (and with that mention someone is bound to bring out that youtube clip...)

    No, only films (and then only where new filmmakers liked the old ones) are cannon now.

    Interesting, that means the possibility for some really funky tech since Frontier was the only fleet supposedly staying "human" in that regard. In reality I don't see it going down that road - not Macrossy enough.

    Not really sure where to put this but when I saw these on the Star Trek page I thought they should do these for Game of Thrones, you know you need them because "Winter is Coming"... http://www.startrek.com/article/first-look-new-tos-tng-hats-and-scarves-from-thinkgeek I mean, I can't be the only one who thought of something so dumb.

    A reboot would be bad enough - they have a perfect opportunity to have agents J and K break in a couple new agents to replace them (and thus start over right where it began). The idea of doing a crossover with Jump Street makes my skin crawl...

    Looks good to me. Voices sound good and the animation does an excellent job of mimicking that "minimalist" style of the originals...

    The enclosure in FTWD is within visual distance of LA, once a zombie swarm starts (and it will probably start when/if the military try to retake the city) they are getting to get swamped.

    Perhaps the best roller-coaster ride like season opening episode in years and no one has mentioned it yet? The Fish Tank was kinda lame but...

    Yes - It has gotten much better IMHO. Only real let down of the bunch was the first 60 minutes of the first episode.
