    Looks good to me. Voices sound good and the animation does an excellent job of mimicking that "minimalist" style of the originals...

    The enclosure in FTWD is within visual distance of LA, once a zombie swarm starts (and it will probably start when/if the military try to retake the city) they are getting to get swamped.

    Perhaps the best roller-coaster ride like season opening episode in years and no one has mentioned it yet? The Fish Tank was kinda lame but...

    Yes - It has gotten much better IMHO. Only real let down of the bunch was the first 60 minutes of the first episode.

    The Godzilla films have been released on official DVDs now (at least some of them). I think all of the Gamera ones have been - and they are simply MUST see TV. If this clip from Godzilla vs Megalon doesn't entice one to watch then nothing will (IMHO this episode was not that funny with the riffs falling flat but this bit is hilarious).

    I have to second that. I loved Battletech back in the day (still have almost everything from the second edition including the unseen mechs in cardboard standup form) but ALL of the original mech designs from the game were simply hideous. The recently released pic of the new Marauder design is very nice though.

    I was going to dispute this point by point but we obviously have VERY different tastes...

    The important part of a world heritage site is preserving the site, NOT making it safe.

    It is a world heritage site so the railing may well ruin whatever it is they are trying to preserve.

    I mentioned the panel lines here - and a higher part count actually makes that worse since it was the seam between two parts that cause the lines in the first place.

    The thing is not that they are impossibly hard to put together, it is that there was no excuse for their being so many parts. Those who have been putting game miniatures together have an expectation of how many parts a mini of this size requires and the RT ones are way too high. That said I have seen painted up models and they are excellent when finished.

    I HEARTILY recommend this film, in the MST3K version. One of my all time favorite Riffs are in this one. Captain - "Lets look lively!" MST3K guy - "But shes dead"

    Back to the show I give my capsule review of the first two episodes. Episode one - boring till the last half hour. The kind of episode you can only get away with by being a spinoff (maybe...) Episode two - Much improved.

    Just watched the final episode. Although this season was, in general, a step up from the last couple seasons(*) that last couple episodes were major stinkers. (*) - This is due to them dumping the cliche alien baby, take me to your leader, and other scifi cliche baggage.

    Of course they do, NO company is going to come right out and say they DID violet the terms of service.

    Misa - one of my favorite characters of all time. A very nicely done rendition of a people I actually know, forceful in professional relationships and demure in personal relationships.

    At least it has an honest name "Wreck". FX were very nice but not enough to put up with the dialog.

    Saw an ad for Star Wars last weekend at the Imax theater. Same ad I had seen online before BUT seeing it on that huge screen and hearing the opening fanfare through theater speakers - I was a kid again back in 77...

    Not sure if it is in reference to me but I have two adult offspring (nearly wrote children) in college - which is a major part of the reason I have fewer funds for entertainment then I would like.

    If I were going to Japan I would try and catch the show at a theater - even though I do not speak a lick of Japanese. Other than that, I can barely eek out the funds to buy the disks as is.
