  1. Well, if Future Unknown is their last episode (please let it not be so!) then they are going out in fine style. There is no huge plot hanging over everything, as it is just three or four supblots allowed to shine all on their own and MacFarlane and team did it fantastically, I think this is one of the best episodes of all three seasons, and that's saying something with how far they've raised the bar this season. MacFarlane wrote and directed as episode that weaved family-style drama with sweet humor that had be smiling from opening to closing credits. And really hoping that no, this is not the end. But if it is, this is how you go out, leaving them (me) wanting more!
  2. Just sharing the Magic.
  3. On her way to Xanadu...😢
  4. A little spacer added to the top of the neck fixed an alignment problem. Adding a spru to the saucer to help 'thicken' it a bit upset the alignment and left the nacelle tilted slightly butt-up. I'll just plate over any gap. I also added some length to the neck to give it a longer profile. The blue spot on the side is the new airlock door. I used a drill with the same size as the original from the torpedo housing and I actually found a similar diameter length of spru from the F-spru from the 1/1000 Yamato kit. It is just slightly recessed.
  5. It would need Ryan Reynolds doing a cameo while reading a Deadpool comic. In high heel boots.
  6. Actually, they don't need to bring in the TNG cast to have people who hate it, or long for the days of TNG, to watch it. They'll watch it anyway if only to see if there are more reason for which to hate it. Point of fact, most posters here don't like this show, but we are on 42 page...
  7. And even if you don't, you can ignore it.
  8. Damn sorry to hear that! My 'local' hobby shop is the internet... Hey, when you're able to get back to the modelling table, let me know. Same address?
  9. Wow, look at that squadron! Almost ready to fly!
  10. Some things you can't see until fame knocks some cracks into a person's facade.
  11. And I'm getting tired of Superman and Batman all the time. Yet another reboot. Yet another sequel. Yet another actor... Yes, I'll go and watch if they look good and I'll be excited for it, but I want something/someone else too. Cinematic Marvel has such a breadth of characters and there is room for all of them to shine, but DC wants just three? And after almost every movie post Man of Steel has been mild to mediocre..? (Not looking at you Wonder Woman or Aquaman!) You'd thing they'd want to continue to build their stable up rather than paring it down. To me, that is just short-sighted gains at the expense of long-term goals. Which seems to be the same playbook that got them Justice League.
  12. And I didn't know until now, since it was made canon in Picard S2, but Uhura made Captain, and commanded the USS Leondegrance, a Lancelot class Starship.
  13. And, of course, the Supergirl movie may be tanked also, esp if the Flash is cancelled.
  14. It's all about actor staying active in their profession. If their roles were reversed, Tom Cruise may have looked like an old Brando by now!
  15. Compared to the two of them she, Ranka, was definitely the more innocent and less 'world-wise.' Very much the Minmei of the dynamic, though thankfully far less self-centered and whiny.
  16. Just finished Paper Girls on Amazon. There have apparently been some comparisons made to Stranger Things but they couldn't be more different. Other than the 80's setting and that it centers on a group of kids, this show deals with time travel - and with more cursing. Really liked it for the most part, though some scenes had the feel of a fan-film, which is in itself not a bad thing. The young actresses they got for it are really good too and really carry most of the scenes. I hoped it gets a second season.
  17. Apparently it didn't make 'the cut' with Warner Bro as not big enough of a 'tent pole' to support a franchise. That and apparently lackluster screenings and a few reshoots that failed to fix whatever they saw was wrong. Not saying I'm gut-punched about it, as I was disappointed they didn't keep the character as a teen, as in the comics, and instead went with putting the character in her thirties. The big loss though, is not seeing Keaton as Bruce/Batman again! Dang blam-it! At least he'll still be showing up in the Flash movie. Right...? Oh well, here's to hoping the concept can be revamped at some point into a series with an 'age appropriate' character. https://thedirect.com/article/warner-bros-batgirl-movie-cancelled
  18. $20 for three pair canopy?! I'll take that. I just hope I can do a good enough job on them.
  19. Rest in Peace Nichelle, you are legendary.
  20. Deck it!!😁
  21. I miss Vanya. I wish they hadn't gotten rid of her.
  22. I rewatched that when I was making my own DVD set. Really hoping an official one comes out cause the visuals are lacking a bit with the one I made. Personally, I think Frontier is the best of all the Macross series, but that is nudging out the original series on only one front. The only thing that would put the original back in the top slot is if they modernized the animation.
  23. Yeah, I could watch that! Stallone? Alright. Stallone as a retired super hero?! Yes please!
