1/72 F203 Dragon II Kit Proposal --Moscato Hobby
Thom replied to captain america's topic in Model kits
(Checks dictionary for more amaze-balls-like words...) Dude, that is looking phenomenal! Loving the dragon on the tail as well. -
A greatly detailed little city scape! I like it. I always thought the city was in the center body, esp with the scenes during transformation. Being below the 'knees' puts it in a place that looks pretty stable. But then, if the city continues into both legs then there could be a central district that would span a lot of moving area in between.

That's very cool!

Ack! Sorry to hear that, but you have to take care of yourself first. Standing with you in memorium...

Nice progress ! I remember building these many many many moons agone. And it's in the trainer scheme, so cool!

The Orville New Horizons June 2, 2022 Trailer
Thom replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Caught up with the most recent episode and though I liked them both, 'Twice in a Lifetime' was especially good. Didn't know where the episode was going, and as per usual, they didn't pull any punches. Damn fine show. -

'...the frustration continues...' Not from this end! I've never waited for a kit like this to be first created and then made, and so maybe I lack 'customer experience,' but I am amazed by how fast it's going together. Keep up the good work! -
Oh boy! I'm pulling up chair!

Yeah, I had to go back and rewatch it again. (chuckle) The run time was alright for me, as I wasn't feeling like it was dragging. Much. As for the He's still a kick-arse villain. One thing I wish And then Eddie's Full Metal Concert! That was awesome! Like a concert from hell. In that way it was very similar, energy-wise, to the duet sung by Dustin and Suzie. Loved it! And I finally placed the face of the girl playing Vickie! It wasn't until she was in a full conversation with Robyn, mannerisms and all, that I realized it was the girl from Anne With an E, Amybeth McNulty. Another fine actor added to an already great cast. Now I just have to wait for season 5 to see how it all comes to an end.

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship, BSG & other starships Collection
Thom replied to Sandman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
@derex3592 That is an interesting looking ship. Better than the other Klingon designs, as in it doesn't look like it comes from Star Trek so you can put into a different 'universe.' Heck, break it in two and rotate both fifty degrees and you'll have two ships! As to Disco, I will say that Season 2 was actually pretty good. Better than Season 1, though neither was as bad as Season 3.- 924 replies

This is the perfect place! Very nice! -
Watched it today - and it was okay. I find myself with the group, as there was too much comedy in this, which I was afraid of after Ragnorak. They didn't balance the need for relief (comedy) with the need for suspense (drama.) I didn't start really enjoying this movie until the third act, when drama had to supersede comedy. After that I as all in. I do miss Thor from the first and second movies and the Avenger films, where he took things, and acted, more seriously.

Looks like some good detail in the 'pit. -
Just got an email stating that Modelwerks has finished their shift away from selling kits/conversions to strictly STL files. Shame in one way, in that this adds a 'middle man' in order for someone without a printer to get some parts made, but at least they are still available. https://modelwerkshop.com/

I think it's the og series theme. Don't remember a remake in '91, and thoroughly enjoyed the 2009 movie!
-
And now I have the theme to 'Land of the Lost' in my head, so thanks.

@derex3592 "USS Stingray to HMS Titanic, be advised Starfleet border command has had reports of Romulan activity in your area. We advise you check your speed and keep a look-out. Good luck. Love the 'canvas' covers. Real nice work,

I repositioned the RCS quads from the cut out panels to the new trialing edge of the saucer. A little messy but some CA and sanding with smooth that all out. That should have been done before the upper/lower saucer halves were glued together. And then I skinned the opening. The new shuttle bay doors will be in the 'corners' and will be the last panels to go in. Those doors will be inset, so I'll need to frame and add them before gluing those opening shut. More to come!
