Looks to be just an electrical arc between 'contact' points. -

@shazam That is pretty dang kuul! -
Great looking model. Love the lance!

I think it would be best to just go right into the original movies without remaking them. Or at least the first one, and remake the ones after.

The Acolyte - Disney Plus Star Wars Series
Thom replied to jvmacross's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Considering that this is pre-Empire, diversity was probably much more apparent. Once the Empire came along we see a far more human-centric society with non-humans pushed to the extremes, and mostly (all) male. I recall that when the Phantom Menace came out there was the noted instance of the first woman seen on a bridge, on the ill-fated Consular cruiser. Plus, there was the multi-species Jedi, so of course we're going so see more the further we pre or post-Empire. -
I'm actually still preferring the 'slimmer' Hasegawa version. But love what you love, right!?
-
It sounds like he actually has (gasp) fun modelling! It's been so long since I have...
-
Gonna add to the chorus, great job!! Esp for a first build. Would love to see more!
-
Interested to see how it comes out. And how much motion it has.
-
I'm assuming that is NOT including the previous original films?! But then, thinking about it, they are already almost half way through.

Well, isn't that a poor critique on todays viewing audience. Don't give cogent criticism, just insulting memes. Again, what a shame.

No, it's cheap and childish. What you are saying is that brainless memes and have taken the place of intelligently made complaints. Which is a shame.

I haven't noticed anything like that at all. She speaks fine and looks good.

And this is a problem, apparently. You know, when I smile, my upper teeth almost touch my bottom lip. In fact, when most people smile, their upper teeth almost tough their bottom lip. Considering all else wrong with the series, this seems bottom of the barrel, IMO.

I'm assuming the figure is 'home made,' but I'd be happy to be wrong. -
Same thought I've had for years. It was a new-fangle thing, but it's not sustainable over the long term, esp with prices that always go up. A few years down the road and what was affordable enough for three or four services now equates to just one in some instances. And then you get the 'bundling' to try and keep it affordable, and eventually you are back to cable-style format, only on-line. I guess it could be just seen as the 'natural' progression/migration from cable to on-line, and certainly done in one of the more expensive ways possible (for the consumer, of course...)
