  1. Though I wouldn't mind that, I usually go with what I see on screen and ignore all the other krup that comes along, either for or against. Most often than not, what is hyped hardly makes it onto the screen and has very little impact within the story itself.
  2. And yet nothing in the movie shows her 'trying to take over.' There's no point near the end where Indy's hat falls at her feet. To me she came off as exactly what she was, the female lead.
  3. Re-testing supersonic air travel. Trying to break the Mach barrier without (or minimizing) the sonic boom.
  4. Sure thing! I had the same thing when I built up my old Bandai Andromeda years ago, though in reverse. The one I made was too large (on the right) so I had to make a smaller one. Rather than pulling the old one off and risk doing any damage, you could just build up the new one around it.
  5. Dude, I love how this is looking! It does look like it came right off of the show. And what's nice is that you can barely tell the base model for the build. If you'll take a suggestion, make the front under hull scoop half again larger
  6. My last favorite was Frontier, though I liked Delta well enough. Excited to hear that they are in the works for another and as long as it is Kawamori I am sure to be entertained! What I would LOVE though, would be for them to redo all of the visuals for the original series. Keep the music and voice work, but the visuals have not aged well at all. Maybe for the next anniversary,,,?🙏
  7. I'd have to agree, at least on the battloid version. In aircraft mode the VF-4 has the best look, hands down, while its battloid looks super chunky and unwieldy.
  8. A great addition to Star Fleet @derex3592!
  9. I'm still waiting for the tailless bomber version of the F-22.
  10. A couple B-17s have been cleared after a mandatory grounding of the surviving Forts. Sally B, Sentimental Journey passed their inspections. The grounding came around April, after an inspection of Aluminum Overcast found that its wing had shifted by 2 inches at one of its attachment points.
  11. Now that better not just silently break mach - but damn well better hit orbit!!😜
  12. 'Why, in my day, we threw the gunner at the other plane!'👴
  13. Any know of the Pre-Orders or release dates for the 1/1400 End-D and its decals sheets?
  14. That's my only gripe with the story. For some reason, 4 and 5 had to have Indy at his lowest, when all the previous movies showed him getting along just fine. Sure, the character was getting older and they wanted to show how you start losing more than you get as you go along, a good scene by the way, but doing it twice in a row was too easy to do, esp if you want to force 'drama.'
  15. Finally watched the first season. Never read the books, but I am liking the series, and I'm anxious to see the next.
  16. It took two hours to get that point, but I was just enjoying the ride. Ultimately, I thought it was fine as is. It did segue pretty quick away from that, but it was nearing the end anyway and there is only so much you can stuff in at the wire.
  17. Half way through Silo on AppleTV and so far this is a real good show. Almost like a more refined, adult version of City of Ember. "In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground. After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo."
  18. Saw it. Liked it! It's fun, has good action and good characters and interactions. In fact, I hardly noticed the time (and thankfully my bladder didn't pressure me too much!) Is it a perfect movie? No, but waiting for that perfect movie to come along means you miss out on a lot of good entertainment. For me, Indy was in good (aged) form. Dealing with issues? Yes, as that is what people do and how we handle those issues, i.e. drama, is just as important as story and delivery. The action was nice and kept things moving and was enjoyable to watch. De-aged Indy was really well done. There were a few moments where the movie magic slipped, but those were blink and you miss it moments. I liked the overall plot of a Stupid Nazi trying to reclaim their sick glory and basically pancaking into the ground because of it. He had a better death scene than Spalko! My only Con would be... ...but that's my only real gripe. I thought the ending was nice and hopeful. It didn't need to be spectacular, it only had to be satisfying, and this was, IMO. This is one I would go see again in the theater.
  19. One foot in the intake and up you go!
  20. I like it. Looks like a refined, tailless YF-23.
