  1. It was a little over-long but I'm liking it. And the OG colors at the end! I'm assuming this is after JL?
  2. I like it. Thank your daughter for the 'dirt.'
  3. Wow, Harbour is looking good as Hellboy! Really hoping a lot of that isn't rubber 'muscle' but movies are all about fantasy anyway. Was really hoping this was a continuation, but if they are trying to distance themselves from the previous movies then we're in reboot-land.
  4. Okay, February. February is good. If they need to sharpen some things up or just leave some extra time for marketing, I'm down!
  5. Maybe short notice but Reynolds and Co have my trust in this. Even if it is only half as good as the first two, it would still be awesome!
  6. ^^^ THIS ^^^ 'Oh, Han is dead, huh? Killed by my nephew, his son, you say? And Leia is in danger? And the entire Resistance? And the entire galaxy, huh? Wait a second while I drink some blue milk..." Glug glug glug glug glug...
  7. Yeah, someone actually taking a hold of their life and turning themselves around is not something to be derided for. RDJ has a bad history of substance abuse and that's pretty much it, with a stresser on history. His history. What he did in the past mainly hurt himself and so I consider that a personal issue that no one else has the right to comment on.
  8. That was real cool. I'd watch that! As to them taking more than a year to bring out a movie, judging by recent examples, I'm all for it! And this is someone who likes TFA despite its flaws. And yeah, Solo as well... The only real good SW movie in recent years was Rogue One (and that's despite scary Leia at the end...) TLJ was just 'okay' and that's because of how they had Luke end up, the two hour chase sequence that just treaded space, and the side adventure that went no where. Which, being realistic, happens a lot! A lot of times people try something that just doesn't work out. I think it still could have been survivable though if at the end, 1) Luke didn't die of exhaustion!! and, 2) if the Resistance had actually been saved at the end by the forces Leia was hoping would show up. Even if it had just been a small relief fleet that blunted the First Orders attack, it would have given more hope to the ending and allowed more of the Resistance to survive. And if Luke hadn't died!!!!! But hey, he'll be a Force ghost in the next one, hurray...woohoo... This third installment has a LOT to overcome. The bread crumbs left at the end of TFA - and simply ignored in TLJ - need to be picked up and threaded back into the narrative, which is not going to be an easy thing to do. And I don't know if JJ has the chops for it, especially as most of what he has done has been paying homage to beloved franchises by rebooting and recycling the old movies. And even if he is able to throw a Hail Mary play and come out with a winner, I don't know if the audiences is going to be there to even see it. Look at Star Trek Beyond. That was a good damn movie, but people were still salty about Into Darkness that they didn't go to see the next one. TLJ was that level of Fail, partly because they started treating it like an assembly line (which is only good for churning out the exact same thing) and because they put it into the hands of a director who apparently had no idea what the fans wanted to see... I'd say that the mistakes really started when they tossed out the EU in its entirety. The fans had become invested in those books and their expanded story lines. Now no, not all of them were good either, but they were a treasure trove of characters and plots that, in the end, were ultimately ignored for a retread.
  9. I could never figure how these technological wonders never could fix a voice box. Unless by mistake - and then inexplicably break it again... I'm really liking the G1 designs being brought back. I just hope they are still refining them and that they are somethings that will be carried over into the following movies.
  10. I see you chose the one from Aliens 3, 'the movie that never happened...' Had thoughts of doing that. Good luck and show plenty of pics! As for me, no longer on the bench and no longer under it either, it the UNCF Murasame 707. She was started as the Yunagi, but my color blue of choice was too light to match the box art, so decals from the Kirishima boxing were used to name her after a heavy cruiser lost during the First Battle of Pluto.
  11. I still don't get why some people think she's flat... I read in a Youtube comment, and I agree with it, that we do see emotion on her face but it is in the flashbacks. Walking with Maria Ramboux, reaching up to run her fingertips along her airplane, when she's reaching out to 'touch the stars...' From the sounds of it, she's been 'brain-washed' by the Kree and she's trying to find out about her past, not knowing where to start or who to trust. If that was me, I would be walking around behind a 'brick wall' too. That being said, this is a minute and a half from a two or two/half hour movie, focusing on more of the intense Welcome to Earth moments. Admittedly, I haven't seen much of Brie Larson, but I thought she was great in Kong, Skull Island and I'm thinking we'll see a different tone in the second trailer - or is it the first trailer and this was just a teaser..? Anyway, as of now I am all in!
  12. Welcome and that looks great! Which it is it?
  13. Am I missing something they aren't - or are they missing something I'm not..? Cavil may be going, but I would see no need to start fresh. Treat it like a Bond film and the new guy as always was Superman and it will be fine. Especially if they get the right actor and they get the right script and director. And they keep the heart of what makes Superman so super. If they work it right they could debut the sew Supes in the Supergirl movie. Not a central but still a pivotal role. I would love for them to do a version of the 'Girl from Krypton' story line.
  14. I hit that logger head too. Mine is sitting on a bottom shelf in partial paint, waiting for the mojo faerie to kick in again for it. Until then, have fun with those Bandais!
  15. Like your line-up of /48 Valks! Miriam's is a fav. Will love to see what you do with it.
  16. Lovely looking Gundam! And the Drakken is such a clean and nice design.
  17. Lovely work on that VF-4! Hikaru would be bouncing on his toes! Love this VF line-up. Is that a resin VF-2SS? I may have to see about getting another one... And that's a real nice looking gun pit. Sweet work!
