  1. Oh, FECK YEAH!! Although if that was just a 'test run' then it was already better than any of the trailers for the reboot! And I mention trailers because I haven't even seen that one yet. The atmosphere of it was just perfect and the music cues just gave me the good willies!
  2. I would love to see another, specially if Knight is behind the camera. But if I see Bay's name as director I wouldn't consider paying a cent to see it.
  3. Too much stuff happened on Earth in the past. There were too many tie ins with Earth history, and some of it conflicting as well. These movies lacked an overall arc to keep a sequel from stepping on the previous movie's 'toe.'
  4. Still damn cool! And people can finally see that she can smile!
  5. I didn't think I was going to see this one in the theaters, as I am not a big animation fan. But I went the other night and I loved it! What a fun ride. Plenty of action and humor all tied together with great character interactions. Turns out I had no problem with the animation style. This movie was great from beginning to end, and it seemed that at any moment whether there was action of no action, I was just glued to the screen. If they make another one, I'll be going to see it. I have to say that this is now my most favorite Spiderman movie. Sorry Maguire.
  6. That looks great. Love the addition of the fast packs. These look a lot better than the ones that are designed for it. And heck, you could fit a third right between the fins!
  7. That last one was the best so far, as it shows the story having more depth and 'history' in-universe. But no matter what the trailers are showing, either a 'lost girl' or 'girl meets boy' or 'death race' angle, so far I'm liking it all! I know this is not going to be a blockbuster though. I would be happily surprised if it was, but judging from GiTS with that being lead by a major Hollywood star and following along a similar arc, I just hope it's going to do well. And if I do like it, I will do my part to make it so by watching the hell out of it repeatedly!
  8. Sure, the 'crush' was more in Memo's part, but I didn't get any feel of 'romance' between Charlie and Bee, no matter what song was playing. I didn't even notice it. When I watch it again I'll listen closer. As for the 'touching sessions' I just took it as a mechanic checking out problems. Definitely ET though.
  9. I didn't get any romantic vibe at all between Bee and Charlie! Very much more than a friendship certainly than anything else. As for Memo(?) I thought he was good and there was where there was some cushing going on. Loved the part at the end when he starts to
  10. Yes. I wasn't thinking about TDKT in comparison, but yes I would put it above Nolan's Dark Knight. Mostly though because they feel like they belong in different categories. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, MoS, JL all feel more fantastical than real, whereas TDKT is more 'real' than fantasy, if that's not too confusing... Different ends of the spectrum, for me anyway.
  11. I think there is one extra shot in there I hadn't seen already!
  12. Looks great, until I think about seeing it full of tourists in all their garish tourist clothes. It would be great if they had robes and other sorts of clothes that would fit the alien setting and be easily slipped over a person's clothes to hide the tourist look.
  13. I'm sorry, I can't help it! I do realize that I have a problem...
  14. I'm really hoping they keep diverging, though having just watched the clip above and Travis Knight reiterating that it is set before the previous attempts, I am confused... But then I think about that scene at the cliff, where Bee suddenly starts to play 'You've got the touch...' from the animated movie and I'm grinning!
  15. Loved it! The designs were finally something not just a shade of Transformers, but they were actually Transformers! The action scenes were great, esp since we could actually see them fighting! I loved the interactions between Bumblebee and Charlie and it actually felt like the Transformers were not just set pieces for the humans. They were integral parts of the story. Also loved the departures from the Bay movies. Gives me hope that they will be going forward with their own arc and not holding to Bay's crap. For me, the only true Transformers movies now is the original animated movie - and this one.
  16. Good movie! Loved the actions and cast interactions, they all did top notch in my book. Aquaman is now my 2nd fav DC movie after WW.
  17. Sadly. I have not enjoyed a Transformers movie since the first one Bay made, and that was mostly fueled by nostalgia and has certainly waned over the years. I haven't seen another in the theaters since. Age of Extinction I waited to see on TV and was glad I wasted no money on it other than a TV subscription, and the last one he made I'm not even going to waste any time on at all. For some reason, Bay seems to think that explosions are plot points. But, Bumblebee is looking pretty good. I'm liking the return of the G1 looks and I'm really hoping this is a soft reboot and it lives up to the hype.
  18. Now that's just conspiracy talk! (where's my sarcasm emoji?) But seriously, this is even worse than someone with a laser pen shining into airplane cockpits. We know what happens when something the size of a bird gets ingested into an engine.
  19. There will be more. But by the original, there are only two so we can easily guess as to what happens to the three in this one.
