    I’ve had some good experiences with the moderoids. I don’t have the Rahxephon, but I got a bit crazy with obsolete and Patlabor and going to be going all in on their Tekkaman Blade kits

    Will do, it'll be my first Moderoid. I thought about getting the hi spec, but apparently this one is better. That's why I picked up the Retroid Pocket 6, but that little 35-40 buck machine does the job, too, and it's more convenient. It'll take some time to configure the retroid properly. If you want to tinker and have patience - the retroid is better. If you want something that's playable out of the box, the R36S might be better.

    Sorry I'm not super familiar with Arcadia and I don't own any of their figures yet. It sounds like the VF-1S figures were delayed and we assume that the SDF-1 reissue will be delayed as well? I have the SDF-1 on preorder and it would be very helpful to know when it might drop because I have a gazillon figures I want to buy and the SDF-1 is expensive so I'm trying to minimize credit card pain when it drops. Do we think it will be delayed until the end of November or later? That would actually be very good for me. Toy collecting is awesome, but expensive these days.

    Right!! Honestly, the Arii details aren’t quite as sharp as the hasegawa, but even the Arii actually looks better than the hasegawa. Anyway I’m just glad the superior armored 1J is coming up soon

    Nah, the VF-27 had a different sort of cover. Namely, the Macross Galaxy fleet never made the legally-required disclosures of the VF-27's existence and specifications to the New UN Government. So when Brera's VF-27γ is first sighted during the mission to rescue elements of the Macross Galaxy fleet it gets reported as an unidentified aircraft. When that report is relayed to the New UN Forces by their own representative on the Macross Quarter it is quickly dismissed as a "foo fighter" without supporting evidence. Thereafter, there's the implication that Chief of Staff Mishima is working from within the Frontier NUNS to cover up Macross Galaxy's involvement until Brera openly declares his affiliation after the Gallia IV incident.

    The Windermereans also start out with Deniable Operations low-vis black paintjobs in the beginning of Delta before Roid makes his announcement. I'd have to check but something's telling me Brera's Lucifer might also do something similar at some point.

    The pic with the 72nd scale Minmay is Hikaru's 1-S from DYRL. The figure at the bottom of the pic does not look like swimsuit Minmay to my eye. The VF-1S kit is supposed to come with a fig. Of Minmay in her dress from the end of DYRL. As seen in promo pics for the kit here. The swimsuit Minmay likely does come with the Armored Valk kit as they were seen in the same ep.
