  1. Past hour
  2. No more loose hatch on the monster. Went for some magnets now I hope I can cover them up so they don’t look so out of place. 🤔 Also decided to submit a model for a show event. This will be a first on many levels. It has to be a Bandai kit and Gundam. I don’t know anything about Gundam so I went with this Tallgeese kit. I thought it looked cool and would be fun. I have only built the entry grade RX-78-2 kits so a MG should keep me busy. Now to think of a badass color scheme?
  3. The setting has changed, but it looks this game got the green light:
  4. Today
  5. The decals will probably also be included in that fighter version with all the sets. Unfortunately that won’t include Kakizaki himself or the Awsome box
  6. Nice, thanks. I was just looking at stores last night since the first pre-order caught me by surprise. EDIT: Well dang, looks like it's back to discontinued already. Must be popular... or really limited...?
  7. Since it's not a Bandai kit, I didn't think there'll be any stock issues. I've gotten all my Hasegawas, Plamaxes, Kotobukiyas, etc. from them right on schedule. Still, fingers crossed. On the subject on Bandai and HLJ, I got orders fulfilled of some random repros in the last few months. Nice surprise, that. IIRC a Mega Size Zaku and a HG O Gundam. So it's still a decent way to get their back catalog at a good price. Just add them to the PW pile you're already building up.
  8. I want it for the Kakizaki decals and the box art. I'll pay extra if I have to.
  9. The shipping costs are too high now on single book purchases....not particularly interested in the model books though, but need to order 3 or more to justify the shipping expense
  10. That's what happens when you feed your valk Taco Bell...
  11. I wasn't able to suspend my disbelief through any of this, and I immensely dislike the implications of the ending. I'm not sure who the audience for this is supposed to be. It had the logic of a kids' cartoon, but the violence of something for adults.
  12. I kinda get his basic point. Although not to any extreme. When she does get in the battle for the first time, she overdoes the Kira Kira and kills another pilot, but that’s usually what happens to Kira Kira users. And during the battle with the not Titans, she tries to convince Shuji to leave without Machu, although she just might’ve been panicking due to the situation not being ideal, although I get the feeling that her character is a bit of a subtle planner. She seems to kinda pick up on things faster than the rest of the trio. That’s kinda how I feel about finally watching Hundreds of Beavers on amazon. It’s not a great movie and most people would just nope out at the preview and most of the rest would probably give up ten minutes into the film, but I loved it for what it is. I could give all the reasons in the world why I liked it, but I’m pretty sure a majority of the people would feel tortured by it
  13. That is really good! Really evokes the emotions of the scene.
  14. I think the real question is, How does warfare change after Andor and the sequels and stuff? do we get more lightsaber ships? Are tractor beams mostly unused anymore? Are light speed suicide ship tactics a deterrent? Is mounting a Jedi as a hood ornament better than a the usual shielding?
  15. How good are you at making copies? At that scale, it would be very easy to lose details
  16. I'm ready for DS V-III to be the size of a solar system, with every planet holed through and fitted with focusing crystals. Once they all align, the Nu New Newest Newer Republic better watch out!
  17. https://www.hlj.com/1-60-scale-completely-transformed-vf-0a-phoenix-shin-kudo-boarding-machine-aca82167# Still available but I think I'll still pass.
  18. Another worthy edit of mine. Stand removed.
  19. I feel like it was forgivable back in the cel animation days, where getting a consistent scale all the time was more work, but I'm much less forgiving in the 3D animation era where you can model everything to an absolute scale and hard check that things will actually fit together consistently. But I'm pretty sure the animation size reference sheets are among the first things that the director will ignore... I also feel like the whole issue with the size of the Northampton - in all three cases, mind you - would have been avoidable if they'd just used one of the *actual carriers*, like the Uraga (which is sadly underfocused on), and the Guantanamo.
