    I’m on a roll. Next up is the 1/100 R3 release L-Gaim MK-II. Started test fit tonight and hope to wrap it up tomorrow then get to work on surface prep over the weekend. This kit builds itself. Lots of under gates on the armor bits which I appreciate and the fit is perfect! It really feels more like an action figure than a model. It’s wild. There are a few elements that are made of colored rubber material so I guess I just leave them be. Too bad there aren’t any resin or plastic replacements for those parts.

    Good, Bandai deserves the negative opinions on a public platform for a lazy effort. Arcadia, pls come back from the dead (or from near death) and save us. Make a real YF-21 version 2... I want that VF-5000G (though it's going to cost astronomically high)

    I'm gonna hold off and see if Hasbro will eventually release Motormaster and Wildrider on their own. I'm not buying an entire G2 Menasor when I've already got three G2 Stunticons. As for MPG "Secret Agent Arcee," if that's something people want, more power to them, but I didn't even buy the Missing Link Arcee in those colors.

    Maybe they should have done a smart thing, and worked on releasing something people have already expressed interest in, and hasn't already proven to be a slow seller in the past 15 years. I really just want them to release the HMR version and watch it utterly destroy the DX sales..

    I know that feeling. 😅 In the last 6 years? Well, the biggest bullet point would have to be the 2021 release of the second Macross Delta movie Macross Delta: Absolute Live!!!!!! with its all-new story and Macross Frontier's short film epilogue Macross Frontier: the Labyrinth of Time. That gave us a look at 6th Generation VFs and Ghosts, some info about Lady M, the fate of the Megaroad-01, a little hint about the fate of Alto and Sheryl after The Wings of Goodbye, and an array of other related topics. (Not to mention 2021 being when the Macross licensing embargo finally broke, with select Macross titles now available on Hulu/Disney+.) There's been a few more artbooks, a new Master File for Absolute Live!!!!!!'s new Valkyrie, some fan efforts to translate the Macross Frontier, Macross Delta, and Macross the Ride light novels, the promise of a new Macross series from Bandai Namco Filmworks at some point, etc.

    Am kinda stuck in a dilemma to sell or keep it. I could still deal with the non conformities and irregularities but the battroid and gerwalk modes are just horrible.

    The problem is tamashii which bandai does not intefere with its designs. We have seen so many examples in the case of the metal build line But credit has to be given to them for the past macross line designs which they did quite well except for a few isolated cases. This does not seem to be case the recent YF-21 and M7 line which was a disappointment. They could have take a leaf from yamato/arcadia designs, improve it instead of throwing in their own interpretations
