  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like a fun one with some cool options. From what I gather is that you definitely need to do some test fitting first and some minor surgery here and there depending on how things go, but nothing too complicated
  3. No worries, I was just wondering which you were talking about and good eye! It is the KO of the Yamato suit! And like I said, I was thinking of waiting for the possible 3Z release but after putting the suit on this figure, I realize it may not even fit the 3Z since it does really fit like a glove. Wonder if anyone has tried fitting it or wants to try if they have either version of the suit and a 3Z valk? Haha, I noticed that as I was reviewing the pics and someone else also pointed that out but too lazy to do a better setup or retake the pics so it can remain a fun easter egg.
  4. Man, I really hope the pricing on this isn't something idiotic... Also interesting to see Josh Nizzi's name pop up. I think he did some of the Bayverse Trasformers designs, like the motorcycle triplets?
  5. As long as it isn't written by Brandon Easton this time. Not a fan of his work. Also, who's that WRAITH there?
  6. Today
  7. It helps. But I think '80s kids seem to have the right mix of nostalgia and disposable income; time and time again G1 sells more than Beast Wars more than Unicron Trilogy more than Bayverse.
  8. I think having all G1 episodes available to watch on Hasbro Pulse's youtube channel and rereleasing Transformers The Movie in theaters helps younger fans get more into G1.
  9. I just realized that the Apple symbol looks like a puddle directly underneath your Valkyrie. Did it have an accident?
  10. It's framed in such a radically different context from the one in 00... I'd give it a pass easily. Rather than simply being a villain dusting off their old MS for fanservice's sake, this was... Besides, if we want to complain about the hero fighting an "evil" version of the RX-78, 00 was the THIRD time. It was done twice before in Zeta and 0083. Gundam has always liked to repeat itself.
  11. I have one, the 2nd version. Last I checked it worked fine, but the hard drive died. I put in an off-the-shelf drive and got it working, but for some reason it only saw like 8GB of the drive, so it might need replaced with an actual 360-formatted one. Shoot me a PM if you're still looking.
  12. This shall SOON be on my bench when it's released and I can get my hands on it to complete the 1/144 trio of The BUFF, The Bone and this BAD BOY!
  13. I won't/can't post everything, but this just got delivered. I was waiting anxiously for it as I paid a bit for just a box, but it's a win. Card stock, plastic, and printing (both good and bad) clearly ensure authenticity. I bought an immaculate copy of MUSHA over 20 years ago for 10 bucks after a local video rental closed. It was an aberration considering how clean the cart is... I've scoured all the back-end channels for an authentic case this whole time and found one finally. It's not perfect - has some pretty severe sun damage, but it's what I've got and I'm happy. It's all legit. Maybe it'll be another 20 years before I find an authentic manual and whatnot. Don't beat me up about my Nomad - it deployed with me in the mid-90s and got a little beat up. Very happy collector today.
  14. I assume the suit is a copy of Yamato's? But I may be wrong, apologies if so. This suit is another reason to continue holding on & love the v2 VF-1s..
  15. Wow, thats a lucky find! I had a copy myself once, if I only knew... despite its flaws, one of those titles that long sticks in the memory.
  16. Granted, Khara leans extremely heavily on its legacy ties with Gainax - its soft reboot of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion being most of its minimal self-produced output over its 19 years in operation - but a good amount of what that video samples from GunBuster to accuse GQuuuuuuX of copying was GunBuster copying Gundam in the first place! Khara's obnoxious self-indulgence and inability to establish a creative identity outside of Evangelion is certainly a problem...
  17. Picked up an immaculate black label Xenogears yesterday at a shockingly low price considering it looks barely used/played. Hardly a scuff or scratch on the outer shell. There are signs of use, but barely. Have a second, bigger find coming in, but need to verify its authenticity once it gets here - 20 to 25 years in the making, lol.
