    Honestly, after they flubbed the AX release so hard, I really don't care if they put out more of them or not. I never liked the altered nose/canopy profile they went with, and in either case, I'd much rather see them go back to re-release the original Kairos. Would still like to get the original VF-31 packs for Arad and Chuck, but I figure those are a lost cause as well at this point, because Bandai seems to have just abandoned those characters in the dirt. I'm glad I picked up a couple of cheap super parts sets (Messer's, I think) to repaint into their versions if I ever actually get together the space to display the full flight. I do kind of prefer the AX super packs though, they look more balanced mounted centered on the wings. Maybe if I get bored someday I'll just do a Siegfried+ and kitbash the best parts of both versions together.

    Hmm... I think there will be an NDA involved so I can't say too much, but it seems my wife and I have a settlement payment coming our way. I think I might cash in some credit card points for a Best Buy gift card and buy that laptop after all.

    Nah, the implication in Alien: Resurrection is that the corporatocracy that ruled Humanity in the previous (and subsequent) Alien films collapsed or was overthrown somewhere in the early 24th century and replaced by the "United Systems". Being bought out by WalMart was, at the time the film was made, intended to be a corporate Fate Worse Than Death. (WalMart was still an up-and-comer at the time the film was being written.)

    Just saw the og listed on Amazon, might rewatch it this weekend. I don’t know that these movies really need remakes, but rather just original films. The og dark fantasy questionable budget films were great, but probably don’t really have a name recognition that’s gonna bring a new or even old audience. I’d rather they just make new stories. I think there’s plenty of room for brutal low budget fantasy movies these days.

    Hlj is at least a hold your item kinda place, but I had an order I totally forgot about a hobby search that just came in stock. Not sure how that’s gonna go. It was only a $20 item and if not for shipping being stopped, it might’ve gotten that $80 fee tagged on top of shipping making a stupid little purchase something far more premium than it should be. I’ll probably have to email them regarding the situation

    I scanned this with my MIRACO which is an all-in-one scanner with its own on board post -processing software. I did the bare minimum of post processing. I used an aerosol contrast agent on the non-white bits.

    I can't seem them doing the VF-31F as an exclusive. Maybe a lil Drakken equipped version. They skipped the VF-31E in 1/72 but I think that's just because of the dish complications. Hoping the VF-31E will also be standard release since its a parts former. VF-31A, I could see as an exclusive. Especially since it wasn't teased alongside the others.

    I gotta agree here. I don’t think it’s the Mouse, but recent anime and especially reboot anime in general these days. They all seem to have a similar or worse look compared to their classic counterparts.Worse being the look of the new Fist of the North Star. But the majority have this almost AI kinda look to the animation

    I gotta see this one. I love B style dark fantasy movies from back in the day. And this has some odd casting as well as Slash as an executive producer. It’s either gonna be great or terrible in a great way, and either way it might be great to watch
