Hmmm. Well, I'm guessing this is only the start of more to come. Fortunately, I already have the majority of the G1 characters, especially first season, that I want so I'm really in no hurry for what's coming out now. I am a little excited to finish off Devy, and I'm anticipating the rest of the Combaticons, but I'm patient. They'll come eventually; we'll just have to wait longer it seems.- 17172 replies

While not explicit, the poor animation depicts a sort of framework for the limb bots to attach to. And Soundwave transforms and flies off as a tape recorder next to Starscream in his jet mode. Crazy stuff in this old show.- 17172 replies

But, there's nothing toon-accurate about an exoskeletal gestalt frame that combiners merely attach to... 🤔 ...is there?- 17172 replies

My Rei and Asuka sofubi figures are coming along. I used dark blue pastel chalk to do the recessed areas of Rei's hair and an acrylic goache mix of burnt umber and red to do Asuka's hair. Then I did a flat clear coat of V-Color to seal them in. I think I'm ready for assembly now.

This J-YT modeler modified the crap out of this old IMAI/Bandai Regult kit with ball joints. -

Sources tell me that Silverbolt arrived at port in the States in... I can't remember if it was late February or early March. Before the Trypticon reissue, in any case, which you might have noticed is in stock at both Pulse and Gamestop. I'm not saying that the issue is definitely tariffs, but it's definitely not a factory issue. Silverbolt left the factory, sailed across the ocean, and made it to the States. Whether they're now sitting in a container on a ship/at port that hasn't been unloaded or sitting in some Hasbro warehouse waiting for distribution I couldn't say, but the kink is definitely somewhere between arrival in the US and distribution to retailers.- 17172 replies

Seems like twitter did something weird and signed everyone off while randomly hiding months of tweets while leaving a sporadic few to be visible between the time skips to people not signed in. I guess these happenings are just another day under their king. Anyway, a bit disappointing the brace is back, but it's expected I guess. Still hoping the joints are tightened like Ozma's though, or that's gonna further nuke the reputation of the mold and design, and kill my chances of having Michael's Tornado even further lol

@pengbuzz - Maaaan those sets of 1/2500 decals for the 7 Enterprises sure do trigger my PTSD! 😂 Thanks for sharing!

I'm personally most interested in page 69 - 85...the Testing Days entries...is that possibly where the 81% kicks in? LOL

Whoa, I wonder what that's all about? Somehow, I doubt that's related to tariffs, but rather factory issues. I think Devy is shaping up nicely. The only real issue I have with the combined mode is the huge superfluous butt flap that only exists to give his similarly superfluous kibble wagon a top cover. Personally, I don't need his kibble to turn into some half-a$$ed trailer; it adds nothing appealing to Long Haul and I'd rather it was just a nice, clean set of hips that I can swap in and out. I was hoping it contributed nothing to the combined mode, but apparently stuff plugs into it, which makes the possibility of just removing it for a cleaner Devastator questionable as to the gestalt's stability thereafter. Guess we'll see. I'm so glad, however, that Devy eschews the frame system that Hasbro is employing on all the other combiners; it just wouldn't have looked right at all, so I'm glad they figured out a way to make it work without that particular crutch. I still wish the bots formed the limbs without the necessity of a huge frame upon which they're merely accoutrement. I'll concede it adds stability; however, that's not how the original toys were, and this is one of those instances where all the liberties taken in the toon weren't necessarily beneficial to future toys. If they can make the Constructicons themselves form limbs, the same should be true for the rest, IMHO, and that would be preferable. Just my $.02- 17172 replies

Not bad. A little taller, but I have the DNA kit on my Menasor anyway. Here's hoping DNA does something for Superion. And that Hasbro actually releases Silverbolt in the States. Lots of people have him in hand overseas now, but Amazon moved my estimated delivery date from April to November.😒- 17172 replies

They used to be on Netflix many years ago, but those along with other greats like Buck Rogers are gone from there. I think I saw Airwolf on Hulu, but not quite sure on it and probably not there anymore. Oddly, the kept perfect strangers and golden girls on Hulu.

Looks really interesting. A good dirt wash will bring it out though

Passed on this. My Arcadia 1st release is still in perfect condition and it can use the Reactive Armor. I bought a Yamato 1/60 VF-17S from Mandarake instead.

I'll definitely be using my Amazon rewards to buy the set.
