  2. Super Power Loader – Concept art by Matt Allsopp.
  3. It's certainly curious as Bandai has leveraged other familiar names they've consolidated over the years but Takatoku was a unique case with the bankruptcy and fire sale on the assets and web of related parties laying claim. Would have been way cooler if this was associated with a missing link chunky monkey.

    Excellent point! The Tomahawk seems like a much easier release in comparison.
  6. Looks like everything will close up, but not sure about the pilot rising up or not. I bet a video will be coming soon to show the gimmicks
  7. A rescue is ok, but Mando season 3 was the main character constantly getting rescued like a Disney princess
  8. There haven’t been as many memorable characters or movies recently and I think that’s why the older actors tend to stand out. Unfortunately no one is immortal yet, so the greats are immortalized by their works
  9. Ehh, I'll take the wife for her 1st IMAX experience. That won't be a cheap movie date! πŸ˜‚
  10. Mando season 3 was pretty bad. Hopefully they won’t have him constantly needing rescue

    Did someone mention Hope and Tomahawk in the HMR thread?
  12. I’ve seen a bunch of these recently like Meowtallica and there was an odd Def Leopard one. I know it’s cheap AI, but it has cats and so I guess we gotta watch em
  13. How bad can it be? Don’t think I've seen any Star Wars in IMAX yet.....
  14. You'd think Bandai would have an issue with this....maybe they just bought the TT molds but not the name? Odd.... Anyways....No Macross = Zero Interest

    I’m still surprised they did the Monster. I guess it was all timing or something.
  16. Hmmm, looks like someone just borrow their name to use on a product. the logo is somewhat different than the original design. according to the info on original Takatoku: As of 1981, the company's headquarters were located at 2-20-3 Kuramae, Taito-ku, Tokyo. On May 25, 1984, the company issued its first bounced check and ceased operations. Total debt amounted to approximately 3 billion yen. As a result, the company was dissolved and effectively declared bankrupt. After the bankruptcy, the building was converted into the Sakura Color Products Tokyo office and a parking lot, and was subsequently demolished in 2013 as part of redevelopment. As of April 2020, the former headquarters site is now a residential area lined with rental apartments.
  17. This could be the song of the year for me ;

    Tomahawk hope is all that's keeping me going these days. :)
  19. Also, that totally is Scorsese's voice in the trailer. When I first watched it, I was thinking that couldn't be him. Nope, it is.
  20. Congrats on both securing POs and the savings. I pay for a membership with Pulse, so I try to take as much advantage of that as I can- the prices may be a little higher, but all the shipping is free, so it balances out the more I order. Too, I've heard of Walmart spontaneously canceling orders, and with how difficult it remains to find certain figures in the wild, Pulse is a sure thing comparatively.
  21. I can has X-Bomber toys again? πŸ˜…
  22. Yeah, its not a completely insurmountable problem, though considering they've just released a ginger version of their cat from a little while back, and we're going to get goodness how many different colour upscaled Spacemen in all probability, I think I know the approach they'd be likely to take... πŸ˜…
