  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks Everyone! This is exactly what I was hoping, they match together really nice. Looking forward to building a diorama with them.
  3. I really like the 86 soundwave. But I still do not think it could replace my MP Soundwave. The cassettes looks terrible,
  4. That’s definitely a tough comparison there. One was more Deathrock/ Punk goth and the other was more heavy Industrial pop
  5. My Dress Up Darling s2 ended. I hope there is a 3rd. I love that show.
  6. Just go to movies and concerts astronaut style. You could set a new fashion trend and hit up some music festivals and make sure you always get to keep that next to the stage spot. Either that or go to the movies Demon Slayer style, but try not to get caught like that other guy. I honestly think he might not have been caught if he didn’t splash on other people at that showing
  7. To be honest, the movie kinda sticks more solidly to the line art sizing than the tv show actually did most of the time. Sure Mirya looks absolutely gigantic next to Max’s actual human body and I think the Zentran still look too big compared to miclones, but the mechs actually appear mostly consistent compared to human mecha in the rare cases where they are next to each other. Also when Kamjin hops out of his armor, he’s way shorter than Roy’s battroid. If Roy hadn’t died, the scene would’ve looked absolutely comedic as Roy fights off that armor and then this little dude just hops out and starts beating down Roy’s battroid. It’s definitely far more accurate than the smoking scene in the tv show or expecting a jacket to fit a battroid. It was sorta an odd scene that I had rewatched a bunch while checking out details for the movie Queadluun Rau back when it was first announced.
  8. The HEMI is definitely not dead. https://www.media.stellantis.com/em-en/ram/press/the-legend-returns-2026-ram-1500-offers-5-7-liter-hemi-v-8-etorque-engine-with-proven-performance-and-capability https://moparinsiders.com/jeep-boss-confirms-the-hemi-v8-is-here-to-stay/ https://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/chrysler/2025/08/07/jeep-will-bring-back-hemi-v-8-in-more-models-brand-ceo-says/85564696007/?gnt-cfr=1&gca-cat=p&gca-uir=true&gca-epti=z118937p116450c116450e000000v118937b0056xxd005665&gca-ft=167&gca-ds=sophi That leaked back in March in Car & Driver. IIRC, it's been publicly confirmed 5.7, 6.2 and 6.4L HEMI are back in the lineup.
  9. Today
  10. I had a chance to do some reading coming back from my PA to Chicago roadtrip. It sounds like the Hemi is not dead, and jeep is apparently offering or going to offer it in certain models/trims. I've seen other articles corroborate the same information but I do not know if its available now or planned. I would also concur with not wanting to daily a car from the 60s-80s they are fun to play with but can be very unforgiving and temperamental when they want to be. It is worth noting that cars from the early to mid 00s are very much in demand right now.. assuming they have been taken care of and its not a hot mess. I've been watching vehicles like Rav4s from the early teen years very much in demand currently. Best guess for that is the current general build quality and pricing issues that seem to be across the whole spectrum of car manufacturers.
  11. And that's a rap; I'm calling the Dark TREAD/Shadow Beta completed. Eventually this will go back in its MPC box, but for now I'll enjoy it for a bit.
  12. Nice, this one has been on my list for about a year now. Its a contender to replace my DD... I had a 1981 280ZX Turbo that met an untimely end back in the early 00s. Probably still find a pic of it on the forums if it still exits. I have been hesitant because of some of the issues Nissan has been having, that and some experience with some CVT issues on family vehicles. Might end up with one eventually if the price is right.

  14. Finished HUNTING WIVES starring Brittany Snow on Netflix last night. Good guilty pleasure series and looking forward to the second season.
  15. I made the mistake of not checking the runtime when I bought my ticket so I was at an 8:15pm showing too. 🙃 For what it's worth, Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Castle was engaging enough that I didn't think "Wow I've been watching this for a long time" and check my watch until the story started to drag in the second act of Akaza's extensive Tragic Backstory™️ at around the film's two hour mark. I guess it goes to show how much theater seating has improved that I wasn't uncomfortable in the slightest for the entire duration. Is it just me, or have anime films gotten longer? Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom was two hours, Overlord: the Sacred Kingdom was two and a quarter, and now Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Castle at two and a half. I feel like 90 minutes used to be the standard, or maybe that's just because most of the ones in my collection are compilation movies.
  16. I would need a pee break somewhere in the middle of that. The days where I could go over 4 hours without peeing are long gone.
  17. Was out and about this morning, impulse purchased SSOne Starscream, Elita One and Optimus Prime. Mainly got them cause I was actually fairly impressed with how well B127 was designed and handled. So while I kind of like Optimus, I very much dislike Elita and Starscream. They've got defects on mine...for screamer his nosecone doesn't fold out correctly flush with the rest of his fluselage making the canopy not want to close correctly. Same issue with his legs, his heels turning into the engines, they won't close up correctly. Elita.....she's just terrible all together, her left knee is crooked and I can't seem to fix it, and her chest won't lock in where her rear wheels collapse in robot mode. Also there's little to no clearance when in bike mode and her head tends to scrape.
  18. It would say the models’ relative sizes look pretty comparable to the scene where Max in his VF-1S fights Milia in the hallway of the Meltrandi ship in DYRL. There’s definitely a lot of anime magic going on there.
  19. Thanks Thom! Sorry that you're not feeling well; is the show more than one day?
  20. @Cheese3 That dio is looking good! @505thAirborne Fantastic! Good luck @pengbuzz! @derex3592 Good start to the PE. The only /350 I've done (to completion) was a USS Independence littoral ship and PE. I have a couple smaller /700s with PE that I need to get back to. And I should be at a model show right now, the IMPS ROCON show in Rochester NY, but of course I am sick with 'tummy problems' to name one ailment...
  21. If they can mess with scales in anime, we can do it in real life!😁 It does look really cool...
  22. Decided to break out the TEXAS from the depths of the closet stash after over a year of not touching it. A little bit of photoetch on a quiet Sunday morning is a good way to get my feet wet again on this build. Not to shabby after not doing PE for a while. Small steps Ellie... LOL. For those who have done ships in 1/350, you know what I mean! 😁
  23. UPDATE: CVAN-65 was delivered to the Crafts and Collections Department of the 2025 Durham Fair (Connecticut). We'll see what they make of her. Stay tuned...
  24. 2.5 HOURS!?!?!? That sounds positively exhausting.
  25. Yeah, Macross sizing and scale is all over the place. As far as the anime the zentraedi jackets fit a battroid no problem, but their power armors usually look much closer to the same height. But then the line art shows their pilots shorter than the destroids with the ladies being even shorter. But I do at least feel that the Queadluun Rau kit and a Plamax kit will look spot on for the anime scene where Max’s future wife busts into the city. The Queadluun Rau looked bigger, but not much taller than the battroid there.
