    I've decided to stop lurking now that I have something to share, and time on my hands since I'm off work thanks to a Gallbladder removal earlier this month. After years away from modelling I have a remodeled hobby-room and workbench, and some nice new tools to go with it [absolutely worth the money... how did I model before them?!] I promised a friend a 1/48 F-16 as a gift, so I'm doing a couple warm-ups before tackling that: I'm doing him up a pair of Briefing Stick models using the Mig-29 Fulcrum and F-14 Tomcat in the Macross zero boxings. [I'm going to save the Macross decals for my own use on other kits] I think it's going pretty well so far, considering it's been something like 12 years since I've built anything... still needs decals, weathering, and the brass rods to mount it to the stick. Also needs a few paint touch-ups before decals/weathering

    "But I will have my revenge!" - Maul, being confidently - dare I say hilariously - wrong. This strong contender for Star Wars's #1 chronically aura-farming full-time jobber will, in fact, not have revenge of any kind. He'll be a mild nuisance to the Empire for a while, try to groom a kid, take a second whack at being a crime lord (apparently unsuccessfully), become a nuisance to the crew of the Ghost for a bit, try to groom a different kid, have a force vision about Palpatine's downfall, and then get unceremoniously killed off for real in the desert by Obi-wan Kenobi in a "fight" that barely lasts five actual seconds (three of which are him unnecessarily twirling like the Disney princess he is).

    Yeah, I'm definitely in for the Tornado Messiah. That's one less Bandai I'll have to track down (and fumble around with fragile parts). And more 1/48 is always nice, I'll grab one just to make sure I have one. C'mooooon, VF-4...

    Well, if Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway ends the same was as the Hathaway's Flash light novel then I can promise you Hathaway won't vanish and Gigi won't be in a coma.

    I recently got one and am dabbling with it. I previously built the storm attacker and the tv fortress, this is extremely similar. I am modifying it a touch though > the main guns seemed a bit short and stubby so i’m extending them. This is much like what i did to the hips on the storm attacker. The tiny vf’s are difficult but doable. Will send progress pics but am going super slow with it, I’m a gardener and the season takes the time!
