  1. Past hour
  2. I truly hate store exclusive releases: Several attempts to hunt this set down at different Target stores during its release date were unsuccessful, so I lucked out when I found a vendor who wanted 8 bucks over its original price.
  3. Today
  4. Thanks. Hahaha. Yeah there are some rough spots for sure. No zooming in on the photos allowed šŸ˜‚ I really enjoyed this one. Super fun
  5. You’re 75% is more like most people’s maximum effort. I can see the flaws only if I go through the trouble of expanding the pictures. Like the hands are a little rough and some of the joint bits, but beyond that it looks amazing and if it were seen in person, I bet most people wouldn’t even notice those rough bits.
  6. I have successfully brought the Spartan back from the dead using new DNA technology šŸ¦–. Wait, wrong movie. It has its issues but like I said, I gave this 75% effort 100% of the time or something like that. I think it came out alright for a $20 kit. Please give us a modern version of this beautiful design you cowards!
  7. Best of May'n promo
  8. @Big s thanks so much. Almost done. @wm cheng thanks. I have a soft spot for these older kits. Don’t get me wrong though… modern kits are awesome but sometimes certain designs are only available as vintage releases. @derex3592 Thanks. Wow! You have an awesome collection right there! Ummmm those Invid…are those kits or toys? Especially the tall ā€œqueen/king?ā€ Those are crazy cool! Also very excited to see the tank come together. šŸ‘
  9. I mean, I've had that problem for years. Every time I reinstalled Win98(I believe we skipped past 95 back then), opened a File Explorer window, and went "where are my file extensions? Argh!" I am used to there being a million tiny things that need to be toggled before it is the way it is supposed to be.
  10. That spicy chorizo will get you by the afternoon for sure
  11. Oh, you can get working group policy options on Win11 home. ::cough:: XP/7 era, "copying over" configs etc worked pretty nicely. But now, 10/11 are so horrendous by default, that even if you copied all of your OLD settings perfectly, 10/11 would still be terrible, because they're invented new ways to be terrible, that weren't even conceived of back when. "never used to have to change it, because nobody needed options, because the original way was a good way and a single click for the hundreds of times a day you might do it". But now they've made it "8th option down of a sub-menu of a sub-menu that is itself half-a-dozen-lines down, protected by an ad for co-pilot", or worse "not even there in the menu at all, they simply removed that common useful function everybody used constantly, entirely".
  12. well no wonder she's so fraked up, they've got piss in her IV drip. boy that was ass.
  13. Windows, for the most part, lacks the ability to import configuration files of the *nix-family of OS. With Windows, you can copy over configuration files but it doesn't always come over cleanly nor does it cover some UI stuff. That's where Group Policy (sorry Home-edition users, no GPOs for you), reg hacks and a slew of other stuff comes in.
  14. Frieren is always good. Watched Heroic Age cause I wanted some sort of space opera....I really don't like the character designs and the characters never felt like they were in any danger of anything. Hell Mode: wasn't exactly hell mode. MC is just breezing through everything. Started Yamato 3199 since new episodes dropped. Darwin - really need to get around to watching this. Saw a clip of monkey boy just owning a bunch of assassins. Seemed cool. Dead Account.....ehhhh. The main character annoys me. Think I'm gonna drop it.
  15. That's looking amazing @Papa Rat - looks like a modern kit, can't believe how well you've resurrected those old 80's kits. I just goes to show its not the kit but the person behind the knife! Wow! I'm loving your display cases and all that amazingly cool stuff!!! @derex3592
  16. Yesterday
  17. Government insider guy understands... but presumably only because he's government insider guy who knew about the aliens to begin with. I'd assume Joe Average on the street is just hearing the newscaster lose the fight with her breakfast burrito.
  18. Looks great can’t wait to see him all put together
  19. That looks REALLY good! I have the HM-R's and it looks just like those! After a month of crazy work I've finally had time to breath, get some rest and start filling in my cabinets again, finally after almost a year after house renovations.. LOL... it's going to be a bit of a hodgepodge of everything 80s and SciFi for a while but hey at least everything is out of packing boxes! . Only the tip of the iceberg... 🤣 Looooong way to go, but I also had time for some actually modeling today and got the packs bags and tarps painted up for the 1/35 Bradley. Tomorrow... More USS Texas updates hopefully!
  20. When the sun shines in Portland during the winter you get work done outside.
  21. And.... ... the Ghost. It was on the CLEARANCE shelf at Wally World for about $25. It'll stay in its box until I get a spot to display it. Need to find the shuttle now...
  22. Two new purchases for me. The last one (for now) of my sword purchases, is this one from Swordier. Full tang, spring-steel blade, the largest of swords I've bought so far. Trying to think of a good name for it.
  23. This! You don't realize how many little things are "essential" for daily usage until "something doesn't work like you're used to" and you curse whatever developer made "the stupid way" the default behavior of Win 10/11 and now you have to figure out how to change it yet again... Until it's "how I want it", it's just A computer and not MY computer.
  24. This poster bothers me because it doesn't clarify the Hollywood Theatre referenced isn't in Hollywood, CA but in fact in Portland, OR. I just feel like it should be clear lol.
  25. Incredible. Any chance we can get a pic of your collection? That Godzilla Grimlock is tight too.
  26. He’s definitely impressive. I think that’s the Godzilla that truly is a frightening concept. Not so much for those that deal with him, but the fact that he’s pretty close to unkillable and the more he exists, the more his own body tortures him with his own growth. He’s like a giant constantly healing open wound that only gets worse the better he gets
