    It's driving me nuts. Strike parts were bad enough, but the missile set, in hand, hardly feels worth $60, forget about anything more. That was why I had wondered if there were way to adapt same-scale kit missiles for the DX and HMRs. Still not seen anyone show that's easy to do.

    When I was a kid years before the prequels, I always thought of the space ships and the battle of Hoth or speeder chases through forests of alien planets or droids and giant walking machines and large battleships and fighters dog fightin. The whole space knight thing was kinda like a little cherry on top rather than the focus for me.

    not going to lie, all this new SOC going out there with a build fighters release and the continuing of the 00 MB releases and not a gp-02 in sight got me bothered. We'll probably see metal build GPB-04B Beargguy before 0083

    "I was very interested in pushing in the direction of martial arts films" sums up my issues with this series pretty well. I prefer the "cowboys vs. nazis with a hint of samurai IN SPACE" flavor. At least the cinematography of the new clips doesn't look as bland as in the first trailer.

    Seems like preorder for the VF-22 started on May 20th, meant to ship on September. However, it's already out of stock. Did anyone here pre-order it?

    Well, after the BW & HG deal, FB2012 was officially available on Youtube almost immediately for a limited time so there's no blockade for that. Now, what mecha can we have from that.. The VF-4 and Megaroad 2. *hint Bandai* *hint Arcadia!*

    I think you are right, it is the red that's predominantly at the biggest surface areas. I pulled out Isamu's 29 again, and the back-heaviness doesn't look as egregious to my eyes. Paint scheme can really alter appearances..

    Hachette 1/100 Air Fighters Collection #13 - Saab JAS 39 Gripen. Quite stoked to score this. I think there have been only a couple of diecast 1/100 JAS39 Gripens made - this one from Hachette a few years ago, and an even older one from Italeri. I missed the original Hachette release then, and since then due to rarity, the prices climbed quite a bit (in %, although the final $$ isn't that much). So when one popped up below MSRP recently, I've never clicked 'buy' quicker. Aren't the Gripens just a beauty...

    It is from Gundam Build Fighters: Try and is a custom build designed and build by a lunatic (in a good way) Gunpla prodigy. Everyone in the show is shocked when they see the "Super Robot" mode. It looks good but I feel it doesn’t fit well into a Metal Build collection since it has none of the arbitrary markings.
