Now where's my f$#%*$ YF-19?

You are not the only

Yeah! You're not the only one you know! Pretty much the majority as a matter of fact. Thanks for the photos Rob!

I already started collecting the Pinky:st and Pinky:Cos lines and then it dawned upon me....this line will be crazily overwhelming and might probably surpass medicom's Kubricks line in no time. :o

OMG.....i can imagine my room filled with an army of Pinkies. I am doomed! Doomed I tell you!! I think I have to specialise... but they are all soooo cute and you just have to have one of each figure just so you can have the costume/hands/head/hair that comes with it. ARGH!!!!

And on the Monster....i'm saving up on it right now. :)

Thanks for the awesome pics and info guys...i am really looking forward to the VF-0S and the VB-6 Koenig Monster.

Now that I have a new job, maybe I can afford it.

I'll have to watch the opening movie of VF-X2 again, but IIRC the VB-6 does not land in shutttle mode, instead it transforms to Gerwalk mode to land and then steps on and squashes an enemy tank

Graham

Hmm, maybe then it's intended to land in gerwalk and stay perched like that by design. It's like that in the VFX-2 flightline wallscroll as well. Gerwalk mode on the flightline. Actually not a bad idea really. No runway necessary for the Konig. Take off in gerwalk transform, and fly.

That's a lot of weight to put on a landing gear, and gears for a craft as big as that would be HUGE, and would interfere with it's transformation. The gear has to fit somewhere, and there's no space for it on the monster in the legs or on the fuselage. Look at the size of the gears on a B-1 or B-2 bomber, or on a cargo plane like the C-17. They wouldn't fit on the VB-6.

So there we go, it does look like the VB-6 was designed without a landing gear on purpose by the Head. So I would venture to say that what's supporting the shuttle mode on display might be the basic stand it could come with.

Where can one find this movie?

I've just gotta add that I'm thrilled to see some Evangelion toys from Yamato. Hopefully we'll see a US release on those.

I love this pic

It's on the 20th Anniversery DVD.

And of course it's on the Playstation VF-X2 game.

WTF? That looks exactly like a resin kit which was released several years ago. Did Yamato buy the sculpt or did they pull a "Toynami" as well?

Hello,i'm very interested in Kaneda's motorbike, but i don't understand a word of japanese(well,i can understand a little of romaji ^_^* ) and so i'm asking you for help.

Here are links to see this perfect bike

Kaneda's Bike

Official page

I have written to them, but in english (and i don't understand what they ask in the contact form) and they are not replying me so if anyone of you can translate some info of the official page for me (Specs,price,avaivability,etc...)i would be very pleased and of course, please make a translation of the contact form to put my correct data there and make and attemp of communication with them

And it is very important also the translation of the info page.

I'm interested also in Kaneda's red suit to have the complete set ;)

Wouldn't be perfectly freak to have the moto the suit and go to anime&manga conventions on it?

Thanks for your time guys!

Wickedness, who needs wheels when you've got tanks to land on.

From what I understand when a resin kit gets popular enough and sells enough, then sometimes a company will pick it up and mass produce it in PVC form. For exampl the recent Yamato releases of the Mai and Blue Mary figures from King of Fighters. Originally they were resin kits.

Can anyone confirm if I'm correct or just full of crap? :p

edit: removed the picture link. Yamato isn't Toynami thank god! ;)

Oh that, it's just a promotional model that's been at variuos shows in Japan.

If there were any plans to make a real working replica of the bike it would be everywhere on the internet.

I'd stick with the 1/12 if I were you. :)

HLJ's pics of the Koenig are great, thank heavens they didn't miss it.

Real working replica of the bike project.

Also mentions the NEO-FUKUOKO(bike in the cons) project as an "allegedly functional motorcycle".

Mmmmm , interesting.

They´re promoting the Koenig under the VF-X2 license , this might sound dumb since we´ve alredy seen a Vf-X2 toy before (VF-19A) but I can´t remember if it really had the VF-x2 logo on it.

Anyway , if they´re willing to promote the Koenig under the Vf-X2 license then this could mean they´ll expand the line with other valks.

We can hope.

And yes, the VF-19A was marked as VFX-2 Game Color Version.

The IT Media site finally has some interesting pics from the Shizuoka Hobby Show, see here.

They have the first pic I've seen of the VF-0S removable nose and landing gear. I can't tell for certain, but it looks like there might be a little Roy in the cockpit.
