From what I had heard from a contact at Disney, Disney after acquiring FOX did have ideas of a ride or some attraction that was going to be ALIEN themed. But after a long drawn out census and ideas they deemed it was something that would been to terrifying and difficult to pull off. I'm not sure how involved they were wanting to get....there was that non licensed ALIEN WAR attraction in the UK so long ago....could just pull off something like that and would probably been amazing.

Weekly I suppose. 

It does look well made for a streaming series. Hopefully it doesn't go full nostalgia retard like Romulus did.

I figured 

I don’t know about full nostalgia since it seems like a somewhat synthetic team, but I’m sure they’re gonna have quite a bit here and there. Maybe more like a good portion of nostalgia rather than full nostalgia, but I guess we’ll find out

while watching the trailer again I this time paused some of the end segments. Looks like somehow our lil synthetic heroine is gonna hook a xenomorph right on its secondary mouth and properly just rip the dang thing right out maybe even killing it or getting a big acid splash, guess wait and see.

There's at least some differences from what previous movies have tried like introducing other animals and species....it would be really. neat if they do the ol' kenner toy bit and we see the Xenomorph equivalent of those creatures.

Birds would be particularly dangerous on earth. The ground creatures can splash acid when killed, but it would just soak up into the ground as long as it doesn’t get on you, but a flying bird getting killed hast the potential for deadly acid showers if you only wound it
