Major Focker
got excited when i saw the thread title, then confused when i saw the pics, until i noticed it was Nothung 2. was hoping it was the VF-19ACTIVE NOTHUNG
Jefuemon
How do you pronounce this, Not-hung, or No-thung? Also, is Hasegawa milking the VF-11 molds now? Wore out the VF-1's? Edited February 10, 2012 by Jefuemon
Renato
Oh, this looks sweeeet. I saw this on the MW front page -- IT WORKS!!
Kelsain
Nice scheme, but I also like the new pilot sculpt. Nice to have something different. Looking at the artwork, this plane also needs a 1/20 pilot figure!
EXO
Here's a link to the first model in the series. http://www.macrossworld.com/259/macross-the-ride/
klam1020
waiting for 19 ACTIVE& 19EF
Jasonc
I would prefer the 19 ACTIVE as well, but this is a beautiful color, and I will probably get this kit as well. Love the Thunder Focus kit.

Iceblue106
It's miling time: http://mecha-guy.blo...vf-11d-kai.html I'm sold on this Blue
Kelsain
So that's a kit, not just a custom build? Sweet! (null)
big F
is Hasegawa milking the VF-11 molds now? Wore out the VF-1's? Looks like it. I would be happy with a standard one that I could build how I like as Fighter, Gerwalk of Batroid.
Valkyrie
It's milking time: http://mecha-guy.blo...vf-11d-kai.html The text is pretty small, so I can't read a lot of it. But from what I can tell, that's definitely a custom build. The kit info box on the first page is for the Thunder Focus kit, not a Jamming Birds kit. But if they're going to keep milking the VF-11 (which I'm totally in favor of!), why not just put out a FAST Pack version already?

Reïvaj
Oh, well… I guess the mecha guy presented it wrongly… http://mecha-guy.blogspot.com/2012/02/hasegawa-172-macross-vf-11d-kai.html
PetarB
It was clear just from looking at it that this was a custom. And it's great work.

MechTech
I'm hoping they also release some of those other versions of mecha. Yes, even the VF-1X++ looks interesting. What can I say, I'm old school! - MT
sketchley
That may be true for pros like you I'm not a pro and it was clear to me. Key points are the interior of the engine nozzles and the general lack of panel lines on the Super Parts. Despite that, I'm drooling all over it, and want it in my collection! *Sigh* Wish I had the time to finish my Hasegawa VF-1 and VF-0 battroids... time to glue and paint is sorely lacking. Sticking to the pre-coloured Bandai snap-together kits... T.T;;;;;

big F
That would be my Holy Grail! It's because they are waiting for me to buy the resin version first! Hurry up then !! A bit like they are waiting for me to buy another over priced Arii 1/72 GBP to chop up and add to a Hasegawa.

big F
If Bandai release it as a 30th aniversary thing then I will get one, then I am not so bothered if Hasegawa do get around to making one or not.
Zinjo
It's milking time: http://mecha-guy.blo...vf-11d-kai.html So with all the kits being released with Itashi decal sets, why "ISN'T" Hasegawa not releasing a Jamming Birds VF-11D or at the very least a conversion kit for the Thunderfocus? Perhaps some of our Japanese speaking members could ask?

Model-Junkie
I already have several of the Hasegawa 1/72 VF-19A Ravens & YF-19 model kits but I'll pick up a few of the re-release for those extra missiles!
