  1. I assume you already looked at these dry transfer anime eyes here? https://archertransfers.com/ASSETS/FiguresPg1.pdf
  2. This is great advice, I have used PPT for creating simple decals before. Almost all of these decals were recreated for this old A-4 kit because the decal sheet got destroyed and the round landing circles on this aircraft carrier didn't exist anywhere else.
  3. Or Inkscape. Totally free pretty advanced drawing program that will create vector graphics.
  4. Ah, that engine cover for the MAC II Monster?
  5. This is awesome! Thanks for sharing and yes please on the build log!
  6. Wow you've got some really nice in-laws. The reasons you state above is exactly why I don't do toys, too many imperfections that detract from what would be a theoretical "real-world" example of a vehicle.
  7. So that’s a no lol. I have Trek kits in both scales so I never know which ones I’d display it with. I’d sure go for a 1/350 Grissom.
  8. Was it ever determined what scale the BoP model was? 1/350 or 1/650?
  9. Use the thick label maker’s tape if you can find it. It works great, flexible and is sticky on one side.
  10. No photos? I just bought a photon when they were on sale, can't wait to get it!
  11. It’s 1/5000 to go with the other Zen ships that were produced by Mr. Mascato.

  13. Is that the 1/12 scale model??!! Wow that looks great! I modified this 3D print to hold my sons Star Wars Hotwheels cars.
  14. Well I’m sure I could be persuaded to make them in that scale too. That’s the beauty of starting with digital.
  15. That's coming out nice! That looks really difficult. Nice to see another SB Yamato fan here. I'm working on making this Murasame class so I can print it in 1/350 scale to go along with my other ships.
  16. Ack! The blue tube WAS useless along with grey tube of Testors putty. At some point they wouldn’t let me buy the orange tube by myself anymore and needed my parents there to authorize such hazardous purchase lol.
  17. That stuff still has its uses and makes a very strong bond because it chemically melts the plastic together. If I’m gluing something together that I know is gonna have to be filled and sanded anyway I glop this stuff on so there’s less filling to do. I’ve been using it since 1978 lol
  18. Hey thanks MT, I’ll let ya know when I dig out the kit to test it.
