he looks like a porn star. one with a serious heroin habit. Sorry to rain on the parade but to me he looks like cliche han solo anti-hero tough guy who of course eventually comes around to fulfilling his destiny as a hero and saviour. He should have stuck to the space-porn.

I think definitely go with the grey decals. Having a neutral grey against a strong red background would look great. Much better that clashing orange decals with red BG.

haha.. damn. That's why I never got my own title under my avatar. Not enough sucking. Speaking of that, what's the difference between a 'vice' and 'mini' moderator? Just noticed that. Do you get bigger thread-destruction powers? Slightly back on topic, I have noticed both a large influx of new members and increasingly bizarre off-topic threads and multiple useless posts to bolster post numbers fast. In my more cynical moments, I think that someone who's been here for 3 months and has a 4 figure post count is not an especially sanguine or opinionated fellow.

I really like the camo idea but I just don't understand why the brown isn't 2 or 3 shades darker. It just seems obvious to me. the light tan looks hideous next to the dark green.

haha.. yes, that is Sebastian's sense of humour all right. 'hugly' is just Spanglish for ugly. He's been paying me out for liking TF's for years.. I always end up laughing at his rude insensitve comments! Although I think he secretly loves Saint Seya toys which everyone knows are totally gay. So now we're even!

Everytime they release a new MPC they always throw out the old "limited production run" (whether it is or isn't) to justify the inflated prices. So this is no surprise.

I started out seriously collecting in '99 or so. So I finished hunting all the old stuff a few years back, thankfully. While I did enjoy the thrill of finding something rare for a good price I'm glad it's all done. Now all I have to do is lazily pre order the new stuff on the net.

On the topic of street dates, I would actually like to see a thread with 'confirmed' street dates for our Most Wanted toys. I just had a look around about 4 toy site and they all give different dates. I'm very interested in know precise dates due to budget! So we know the 0S is April 17, anyone have more info on releases for the below? Stealth, Garland, Low Viz GBP - May Low Viz - June I'm itching to get my filthy hands on the SOC Voltes V.. is this stil a May release? Geez, May is gonna be a month of eating tinned baked beans.

I import from HK now, and ask the vendor to remove the boxes and the inserts, and to wrap up the valks in a layer of bubble wrap. That way I can import 6 valks at a time in the one box, and in a smaller package to prevent suspicion of the true worth of the valks. Saves a bit on the shipping. 387361[/snapback] That's what I do too! It's good when you find a seller who's reliable and doesn't mind repacking stuff to ship overseas. All my new toys come from HK, and only the odd vintage thing comes from the US. Or whenever Twimmoons has a shipping discount offer. Thanks to him I got my scopedog without selling my house for the shipping.

Just checked amazon.. it's avaoilable in TPB. I'm getting this too as my copies of the series disappeared many years ago. Meltdown link Oh and in the spirit of mentioning other long forgotten great collected series, if anyone ever sees the TPB of John Wagner's 2000AD series Button Man: The Killing Game, BUY IT! Mark my words, this will be a movie one day (if it hasn't been sold). It's available at Amazon UK (man, I'm starting to sound like their sales rep, haha)

speaking of other good wolvie mini series there was one called 'Meltdown' with wolverine and havok. It was a 4 issue series, but not sure if it was ever collected. Must have orginally come out somewhere around 89-91?

I have really noticed the increased sting of shipping to Australia (especially from the US) over the last couple of years. Something that would cost 15-20 will now be about 30 bucks to ship. It makes me think twice before buying stuff off ebay from US sellers.

excuse my french but that is F__cking awesom Kurt. You make it look so easy! I've tried a couple of camo paint jobs and I know how hard it is. Well, for me it is. All that tape and cutting all those patterns... I scared my wife from all the profanity I screamed while doing it. And excuse my photoshop ignorance but are the untouched pics the 'browner' ones?
