  1. If I had to pick one, I'd want a Soul of Chogokin Dairugger (aka Vehicle Voltron). I reckon it will happen in the next couple of years. It was a popular show, and the Combattler and Voltes V toys were well recieved. Oh and a new Cyclone/Ride Armor toy would be nice but I really doubt Toynami could pull it off.
  2. haha, true. The latest translated episode, 225, is a complete soap-opera love story. It's "will the guy and girl get together?" instead of "will all the main characters be brutally dismembered?"
  3. that's looking better.. can you do one with a grey instead of the brown, Mr.photochop?
  4. it's one of my favourite mangas! You can get it here: http://shocwave.caticus.com/ Anime's not bad either. But I unfortunately got a censored copy.
  5. that's a 1:55 (I beleive) scale legioss from Gakken. It only transforms into battroid and gerwalk, not fighter mode. Wouldn't be worth much, especially in that condition. Your best bet for parts is keep your eye on ebay as junker toys come up for sale every so often. As well as 'gakken' try searching 'henshin robo' too. Looks like it's got a fair bit of chipping on the diecast leg parts too. So unless your co-worker's ok with painting maybe it's off to ebay for it. Would get about 15 bucks I guess?
  6. I tried watching Chobits. Made it through 2 episodes. Hated it. Looked like kiddy porn to me.
  7. thanks for the nice big pics Saverobotech & Graham! All I can say is screw the low viz and stealth, gimme the 0S!
  8. great pics! The SOC Voltes V is looking great. As is of course the 0S. And what's this one? any info on it? http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/vampirdzhij.../wf06win_31.jpg
  9. yes, that's what I meant. Thank you for understanding, unlike Mr. No-Allowance-For-Poetic-Licence above you.
  10. haha, now there's a face (well, name) I haven't seen for a LONG time! I am guessing you know by now but even though this is 1/60 it's the same size and quality as the 1/48's. You have a lot of toys to catch up with! hope you have a lotta money.
  11. Rubbery? I only have one Macross SP, the Anime Expo exclusive Hikaru Strike, but the plastic is all hard plastic. Have you actually ever TOUCHED a SP? 370233[/snapback] yeah, I have 2. I meant 'rubbery' as opposed to decent ABS plastic. It just looks rubbery and cheap. Plus the leg on my cannon fodder just fell off without touching it. I did replace the heads with 1/72 hasegawa kits to make em look a lil bit better though.
  12. Wow, kind offer! But he should do it himself. Lazy old man. It's not a Nu Gundam without the funnels!
  13. well thanks to this thread I've already bought the NECA 18" terminator since my last post here 4 days ago..
  14. looks like it's the same rubbery plastic they used for the super poseables. I'd still rather keep shopping on ebay for a HCM.. or give my 1/60's the respect they deserve!
  15. taking another look, the hands look like they were stolen from a MG gundam kit.
  16. well I've been away for awhile, so just to add a little value to this thread, what's a mini-moderator? And congrats to those of you who became one!
  17. curse this thread. I had almost made myself forget about the cygirls protect gear and NECA terminator. And I was trying to ignore the Hot Toys Hicks. Now I'm back to square one and months of therapy.
  18. haha.. I definintely want it to come with a 1/48 wonder woman pilot. Also, with all these stealth/low viz mk 2 valks, I would LOVE something with a camo or pixellated scheme (as above) as it's the one thing I am crap at painting. And don't have the patience for either. Dunno how easy something like that is to mass produce and still have good QC.
  19. yep, looks damn clean. And you should be proud from all the work you put into it. Now you can have some time to post on MW once in a while!
  20. not that we don't agree but it's a very, very old subject. But welcome to MW!
  21. I just got back from five weeks in vietnam.. on one menu I could choose: coffee (black) coffee (with sweat milk)
  22. I've been away for 5 weeks and this is great news to come back to. Like was said earlier, the 'April' release made me think is was a joke but if Rob's got an ambiguous listing from yamato I'll believe that!! (haha, unless Rob is in on the joke too ) So.. anything else I missed??? (must go shake off jet lag now)
  23. Sorry if this is old news as i just got home after 5 weeks overseas and am pretty jetlagged.. saw this new news on toybox.. a US release and only $99? http://www.toyboxdx.com/set-rumble.html
  24. that thing is amazing. If I had the cash I would get it for sure. Anyone seen any other prices for this piece for comparision?
  25. I haven't seen the movie yet but I read the book and saw the doco of One Day In September which I loved. So this movie has a lot to live up to.
