    I wouldn't trust Nin Nin or Mykombini with any order that you don't think will be easily available anywhere else after release, web exclusive or not. From personal experience.

    I'm not talking about the canopy shape. I'm talking about the internal cockpit, seat and all. It's only like 3 or 4 pieces of plastic. The design has the seat too far forward with a lot of wasted space in the back, forcing the pilots to be made extra small in order to fit into the cockpit. Yes, even the DYRL pilot is undersized, though not as egregiously as the TV pilots. This is something that should have been addressed in the design stage, long before the first DX went into actual production. A couple of pieces of molded plastic with the seat mounted further back with less wasted space probably isn't going to cost any more than what we have now. It's not going to turn a $200 toy into a $300 or $400 toy. And we could have properly sized pilots too. Bandai f***ed up the VF-31 cockpit too, which is why those pilots sit in cramped cockpits with the console smushed up against them. I don't attribute that to cost. I would attribute that to laziness, carelessness, and/or stupidity. I have only used them a couple of times and got my order confirmation pretty fast. Never ran into them not being able to secure an order for a web exclusive.

    How is printing the rescue arrow in the wrong direction cheaper or easier than printing it in the right direction? Or just positioning the seat further back in the cockpit where it's supposed to be?

    Ordered via From Japan. Note to anyone using From Japan: DO NOT USE PAYPAL PAYMENT. I should have remembered this from the VF-0D order, but if you select Paypal payment on the From Japan page, it won't take you to the Paypal page where you can select your funding source. It will straight up charge you right then and there using Paypal's crappy conversion rate where Paypal pockets the difference. For this order it was only a few dollars, but it annoys me to no end that I gave a few extra dollars to the f***ers at Paypal. I had used my CC conversion rate for the 0D order, fortunately.

    If the 100 on the upper starboard stabilizer was intentional for reasons of symmetry, then why does the lower starboard stabilizer have 001? Seems pretty damn assymmetrical* to me. * Not a typo. With Bandai, it's ASSymmetrical.

    There's a big difference between adding extra markings not seen in the show (especially when it was hand drawn) and completely botching up the markings. Hasegawa doesn't provide PETS ON markings for their kits, do they?

    @Sanity is Optional Are you going to be using From Japan to order Kakizaki? If so can you share what the total price is (not including shipping of course)? Just want to compare it to the cost of just buying it through like AE or wherever.

    That's the screw hole cover. Someone at the factory didn't push it in all the way before the super glue set.

    So, uh, I was only joking around a few weeks back about future releases having the modex numbers printed backwards. And then Bandai goes and actually does it. /facepalm I'll get just one to satisfy my completionist urge, but it will most likely stay in its box indefinitely. /davidwhangchoi Bandai just halfasses and cuts too many corners for me to be particularly enamored with their stuff anymore.

    It's rare these days but I do occasionally see Max's 1S pop up on Mandarake from time to time. Not sure if you want to pay that much though. Those old Yammies go for quite a bit these days.

    There was quite a lot of grumbling about the transformation when the 171 and 262 came out. The 171 is "why do something in one step when we could do three?" I transformed one of my 262s to battroid, put the sword and shield on, and left it as is. A friend told me he somehow managed to snap the thumb off trying to put it back into fighter. Or was that someone on here? I can't remember much from the distant past of... 2017? Oh crap, it's been three years?
