  1. You should have bought more destroids if you wanted Bandai to release more non-valkyries!
  2. NY sucks. They still haven't shipped my VF-4.
  3. No it would cost too much and take too much time, and would make my PF versions obsolete. Also, I already finished Miria so I don't want to do that one all over again. I'll just have to live with no rainbow canopies for M&M.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Super parts are web exclusives for existing products so it shouldn't be a concern for their retail sales. Unless Bandai doesn't feel it's worth their time to make them if they can make more money using their factory capacity to crank out more Kamen Rider stuff or something.
  5. So many awful products from over the decades clogging up our landfills...
  6. Are those the PF editions? Crazy me thought of buying the old Yamato editions and swapping out the front fuselages for the rainbow canopy, but that would cost a lot and the Yamato white wouldn't match the Arcadia white. Got my Mark XLV set up. It's my least favorite Iron Man suit (outside the "House Party" suits) but Hot Toys really made it look amazing. Hope they reissue the other suits I missed out on. The aftermarket on those are even crazier than Bandai stuff.
  7. They are! Hopefully you can find the ones you want at a reasonable price. Prices for Mirage and Arad are a bit out of hand...
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be careful when I take them out. Very nice!
  9. Definitely some grumbling about the 100 screwup from Japanese buyers in the review section. https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07SH712YR/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=vf-1s+dx&qid=1585454782&sr=8-1
  10. Upgraded myself from the lame SHF version.
  11. With slowed production and limited release slots, I wouldn't count on Bandai using those slots for lower return items like destroids, even though those are way better than the VF-1.
  12. That's a pretty good price I think.
  13. TMP is an unwatchable movie just like Into Darkness. It doesn't matter how great the individual parts are if the whole is garbage. You can have the finest ingredients available to you, but if you're a crappy chef, you're still going to get an inedible mess.
  14. Here's how I view Star Trek as a whole. TOS: A couple of good episodes, but otherwise mostly crap. TNG: Seasons 3, 4, and 5 were the peak of the show, but the cracks were showing by season 5, and 6 and 7 are a lot of garbage with an occasional good episode. DS9: Slow start like all Trek series, but once it picks up steam it becomes by far the best and most consistently well-written Trek show. Voyager: Mostly garbage. Seven is one of the most interesting characters in the show, but marred by that stupid catsuit. And her under-utilization in Picard was borderline criminal. Enterprise: Almost entirely garbage, but it did finally start to get interesting in season 4... then they pulled the plug. Movies: Only 2, 4, 6, and 8 are good. I also really like 5 and Nemesis, but in a "they're so bad they're good" kind of way. Star Trek II is still the best movie. Why was it great? Because they wisely chose to ignore Gene Roddenberry. TMP and Into Darkness are the worst and I honestly can't decide which one is the crappier movie. TMP is what happens when you let a self-deluded egomaniac take the reins.
  15. Like Star Wars, most of Star Trek is also not that great, aside from the outlier that is DS9. Picard falls squarely into the middle "meh" part of the Trek bell curve, elevated a bit by Stewart and Spiner's performances (as Data, not the other dude).
  16. Wait. Some here actually BELIEVED that Anakin was a virgin birth? And that Shmi wasn't just a loose woman who slept around? Star Wars fanboys forget that prior to Anakin, the Skywalker family was also a bunch of nobodies. Less than nobody, actually; they were property. So the slave kid at the end of TLJ using the Force was a nice nod to Anakin's own origin, and a theme in that movie that was actually good. TROS is a nice nod to the "DERP PEW PEW" stereotype of Star Wars fanboys.
  17. That price wouldn't be too bad except that ebay charges tax now. Does it include shipping?
  18. I wonder if there are more T-shirts like that...
  19. No cancel notice from FJ and it says "Ordered - Awaiting Arrival" so I guess I'm good on Kakizaki.
  20. Thanks. Can't wait to slum it up in Tokyo with it on.
