Have Cap ordered, just waiting on my sideshow points to become available (stupid ass backwards 40 day waiting period) before I preorder fat Thor, Thanos, and the non-battle damaged 85. Might pick up Rescue and Iron Patriot too, but maybe I'd prefer to have IW War Machine instead...

    I have most of the Fate figmas and yeah my knowledge is limited to the original novel and Zero. But the figures are nice but the figmas are all kinda pricey these days. Making me buy a two pack with Shinji just to get Sakura? Screw you, Max.

    Yeah, I'm done with SHF Marvel stuff, with the exception of a possible Endgame Iron Patriot release. I think they peaked around Age of Ultron, ironic since it's the weakest Avengers movie. The Mk 43, 44, and 45 looked great and were solid. They looked like scaled down Hot Toys without the LEDs. Things started going downhill with Civil War. My Cap and Iron Man Mk 46 were loose as f*** out of the box to the point they could barely stand, and that Iron Man sculpt looked kinda janky too. Unfortunately, janky-ass Iron Man sculpts would be the norm for the rest of the line's run. Everyone Cap and Iron Man should have come with unhelmeted (or open mask) heads. Not including dual Wakanda shields with IW Cap was just criminal. The double-blade that Thanos comes with looks nothing like what's in the movie. Did anyone at Bandai actually see Endgame? Goddammit. Why did Endgame Cap come with two identical helmeted heads?? The list goes on. And so I've turned to Hot Toys to get some decent Endgame releases. They cost a lot more, sure, but Hot Toys doesn't half-ass their stuff.

    I would love a VF-1D with the proper long canopy. The Yamato 1D is excellent but the canopy is the same size as all the others. Would like to see one with a Hasegawa length canopy.

    Bandai ain't gonna give us missiles and deny themselves the pleasure of making everyone buy those missile sets. SSP bundle seems unlikely as well, what with the included emblems in the SSP sets.

    Bandai's general pattern seems to be not releasing anything that wasn't seen on-screen, so even if Bandai produces a Max 1S, there's a good chance you'll have to repaint your own skull insert if you want to have matching blue SSP. Or just use Roy's 001 black skull insert since Max has a black heat shield too.

    There was a rattling noise coming from the package for the third party nano gauntlet accessory pack... and it turned out to be a mini LED for the nano gauntlet! Wow! Bandai really half-assing their SHF efforts.

    I hope Bandai isn't pulling the plug on more secondary character TV valks because Max wasn't as in-demand as Hikaru. If Max only sold so-so, then Kakizaki will be worse, and Bandai might not bother with his TV version. We'll see.
