Pretty steep price increase for a repaint of an already-developed 10 year old toy with generally inferior engineering to the Delta-era toys. I'll still end up buying one because of course I am. Really dislike the nose though. Making it grey when the rest of the valk is white with blue/black trim really looks out of place.

It didn't help that, aside from the Q-Rea, the MF Robot Spirits toys were hot garbage. I wouldn't mind a Metal Robot Spirits VF line where they were not only transformable but packed with detail like the DX line or Gundam Metal Robot Spirits line, and not looking like half-finished model kits like the HMR line. Still waiting on the DX YF-21 like many others here...

Especially for used. But then again there doesn't seem to be a huge aftermarket supply for this bird. Looking forward to the eventual Virgin Road 1D from Bandai, with seated Max and standing Miria wedding figures.

My YF-19 PF was still sitting in my open orders tab at AE, so I went ahead and paid for it as the exchange rate was favorable ($377). At this point I did it really more out of curiosity over whether or not they will actually be able to fulfill the order. I doubt it but I'll find out in a day or so if they refund my money.

Hmmm I saw the preorder button was active on that Amazon link but no price was listed. So I added to cart to see and had a good laugh. Oh, shipping was 8500 which gave me another chuckle.

WTF now I got an order confirmation email from HLJ.

OMFG HLJ dumped my shopping cart on the last step. Same crap as during the 1S preorder. Goddamn your crappy site HLJ!

It's fine if the scale isn't perfect since they're non-scale anyway. Just glad to finally have some Xenogears mecha after 20 years. Grahf's Weltall would be pretty sweet too.

The lack of a Skull 011 circle insert in the SSP set is Bandai telegraphing that they have no intention of ever releasing a Hikaru 1A, in keeping with their policy of never completing an entire squadron.

The Bring Arts Weltall isn't the best figure around, but it's alright and Xenogears is one of my favorite PS1 games, so I preordered Id. I don't remember Weltall growing by that much when Id takes over. Awww no glowy wing effect parts for the six wings. Hoping for the rest of the mecha from game, including Weltall Mk II and Xenogears.

Combo set arrived! I'm moving this weekend so won't open it till I'm at my new house. I don't dislike the GBP armor, but I'm not a huge fan of it either. So it can wait.

GBP set from HLJ already out for delivery. That was fast! Naturally, the day after I ship my entire PW, a RG kit that's been backordered for months entered my warehouse.

This was for the 1D. They never responded to my emails except for the first email, where I got a "it should be here next week" stalling email. Over a week passed, I emailed them a couple more times and never got any response. So I just disputed the charge through my CC and got my money back. I have zero tolerance for NY-style stalling tactics. Give me my item, my money back, or a real update on when I will receive it. Those are the only acceptable answers to me.

Just paid for Fedex shipping from Okini Land for the GBP-only set so I'll have that in a few days. Woohoo! Also had a set on order from DeJapan but given that I had to CC dispute and get my money back last month, it'll probably be the same thing again. DeJapan sucks. Don't use them if you actually want to get your stuff.

Just requested shipping from HLJ for my GBP bundle and a few other items from the past two months. 7760 for DHL, and that was the cheapest option aside from surface parcel. EMS would have been nearly 12k.

My favorite stand after Yeti is the Arcadia variable stand. I'm still kicking myself for not buying more of them when they were available.
