I'll just have it shipped EMS or DHL or whatever express shipping method that can get it here safely. I'd prefer to just pick it up myself, but who knows how long before international travel is back to semi-normal. Black landing gears are not tolerated in my collection. Where's the retractable ladder and VT-102 tampo by the cockpit? Bandai as sloppy as ever!

Prices on Kakizaki hovered around the 20000-22000 range on Mandarake for quite a long time after release, though they were often snapped up pretty quickly and I rarely caught one with the "Add to Cart" button available. It's only recently joined the 30k club. I chalk it up to being Kakizaki for the relatively slow price climb. It is, but it shouldn't be that way. It's artificial scarcity created by Bandai. I wish Macross was more popular and/or Big West would allow more companies to produce quality Macross toys, but alas we're stuck with Bandai making us beg like circus seals for every fish valkyrie. That goes without saying. Aside from the anniversary editions, I think the only valkyrie release I've skipped is the upcoming 31J reissue. I'm okay with cash grabs, but that one is just too lazy even for me. I've always found the 29 livery rather unusual myself, what with the tiger stripes and oblong color patch running down the middle. I think we're long past the time of glossy valkyries, and thank goodness for that!

Thanks all. So the 29 is going to appear in the next Delta movie? Hmmm interesting. I wonder what use they will have when everyone else has the newer 31s. Yeah I guess that explains why Bandai suddenly wanted to refresh a 10 year old toy. Anyway, was a bit busy this weekend so I didn't get to taking some gerwalk and fighter pics till today. Enjoy!

10 years after catching the second Frontier movie in theaters I finally have a YF-29 I'm satisfied with. As the YF-29 is a prototype machine that only saw action once before pretty boy trashed it, I kept the panel shading to a minimum to retain its brand new look. Otherwise, just added a few details and gave her a semi-gloss coat. Battroid pics

The fact that the show they're from is a steaming pile doesn't help. I'll buy them all and imagine that they're from a better show.

I must have that AX! I must say there's nothing like giving two more state of the art aircraft to two of the worst hero pilots in the franchise. Xaos not really spending their money too well. Probably why they can't afford ammunition.

Wow that's harsh. Let's not forget the old maxim: An item is worth whatever you're willing to pay for it. I actually snagged a MS Nu preorder from HLJ but decided that I didn't really like Gundam enough to drop 1k on it. I might have changed my mind if the fin funnels were included and weren't a separate accessory I had to drop another 200 or 300 bucks for. Now a MB GP03 mobile armor... a man can dream. Also looking forward to getting my copy of that Zeta Gundam. I love the classic UC suits; not as into the newer moulin rouge ashtray suits for whatever they're making these days.

Only if you absolutely love the Warbird design or really enjoy having it in scale with its primary adversary from the show like I do. And can get it with a 20% discount. I actually don't know where I put my regular edition so I can't really make a direct comparison atm. -

Funny, guess what arrived today? Picked it up mainly because, based on the listed dimensions, it would scale really well with the regular Enterprise-D. It's almost perfectly in scale. The show never really emphasized what a monster of a ship the Warbird was compared to the Enterprise.

Wow that actually looks pretty nice! Might have to pick one up. Haven't bought any Eaglemoss in awhile as I'm mostly interested in the hero ships. Not really into STO stuff. One ship I've wanted that I've never, ever seen in stock is the Negh'var. Freaking Eaglemoss. -
Great work on the Durandal! Mine's still sitting in pieces atm. Started a new job not long ago and bought a new house like you, so been too busy to work on it. I hope when it's done it looks half as good as yours!

I hope Bandai chokes on excessive stock for forcing people to buy the same toy again just for an accessory that should have been included in the first place.

Damn pod should have been included with the original release or in the super parts set. F***ing Bandai and their blatant double dipping. They did the same crap with all their Marvel figures.
